You might remember my review for the Tegu Blocks  Pocket Pouch Prism – Jungle set last summer when I found Tegu…. One of the things I love the most about doing product reviews is that you come across companies and products that you might have not ever learned about otherwise and once you find them you realize what a waste it would be to not know about this company. That is exactly how I feel about the Tegu toy company. We love blocks and at first glance you will think that Tegu is a block company and you would be half right because while Tegu toys are blocks they also have a really neat twist…They are actually magnetic wooden blocks that allows you to create a series of different designs and are just perfect to promote the younger ones block building skills. There are many different sets found in the Tegu store that go from just 6 blocks to 52 block sets of high quality blocks. I was given the opportunity to try the Tegu Blocks Pocket Pouch Prism – Jungle set that feature a six block set that comes is a very cute and convenient travel pouch. I have mentioned before about our family road trip…Well this toy is just perfect while the family is on the go, not only because of the travel pouch that makes it easier to keep the pieces all together while not in use, but also because of the fact that with just 6 pieces it is really easy to keep the pieces from getting lost. Now don’t be fooled by the amount of pieces. This little set is a lot of fun and will keep the player engaged and entertained for a good amount of time! As with any magnet, if you do not place the opposite magnetic pieces together they do not attach and can even repel each other. So, yes it is fun to twist the pieces around until you get it right and can even keep my husband entertained for a period of time. You will be surprised on how many different figures you can actually make with the six pieces set. This is one of the very first items I packed in the ladybug’s “special travel storage case” for the Ohio trip last summer  and I have to admit that I borrowed it a few times….I find it really relaxing and since we were in the car for several hours on a 1,000 miles trip with a 5 years old, I needed all the relaxing tools I could get a hold of! The set retails for 30.00 Also, Tegu  announced their Building Inspiration Manual! They have created a gallery for you to share your creations and get inspired by others. It’s like a virtual refrigerator, instruction manual, inspiration page and hall of fame! Lots of fun designs are found in this page!
