My daughter is a big fan of magical creatures like the Easter bunny, the tooth fairy, elves and of course Santa Claus.  She is turning 7 in a few weeks and I intend for her to be a BELIEVER for as long as possible.  In these times of smart phones and tablets, imagination and pretend play seems to be losing ground.  Well I believe that these kind of games and activities are great for kids and really is good for the expansion of the mind…No rush in growing up! Just a few weeks ago I was offered the opportunity to do a review for Just Pretend Kids Costumes .

For this review the ladybug decided she wanted to try the Vampire Princess outfit.

From the Just Pretend Kids Enchanted Costume Collection, the Vampire Princess costume features a gorgeous deep red dress with black lace and black velvet bodice that is truly beautiful and very well-made. The dress fits really nicely (we asked for the 6 which is a medium), and the dress fits her perfectly, she is about 45 pounds and 47”.

The dress has different layers made with different fabrics including tools that remind me of a Spanish princess. The top part of the dress skirt, is removable and since it ties up with ribbon, it can be adjusted to fit your little vampire princess.

The skirt has a dress hoop to help it keep its form and the long velvety long sleeves finish with red and black lace.  It also features a deep V bodice design made of the same material used on the sleeves and upper skirt finished with a red rose to complete this vampire princess look.

The red fabric used on the dress is a light weight satin fabric and they used lace to give the costume an antique look.

While you can really appreciate it on the photos from their site the dress also has sequins around the neck line that gives a nice touch and the costume comes with a black velvet choker that features a deep red “gem”.

The costume as I mentioned is well-made and shows great attention to detail, so this is a great dress for a costume party, for your little girl to play in, and definitely a great option for Halloween!

The Vampire Princess dress from Just Pretend Kids has a retail price of $69.99 and it is just one of the different designs you can find at their store…They also have very cute Tutu Collections!
