We want to start this post by talking about Gal Gadot. Gal Gadot is an actress best known for playing Wonder Woman. She is beautiful, intelligent and slim. In Wonder Woman, she is also seen to be incredibly strong, a true fighter and absolutely flawless in every way. This is perhaps why there was some controversy when it was noticed that footage used had digitally removed the hair from underneath her arms.

At this point, it is important to realize that having hair underneath your arms is completely natural. Being hairless there and on other parts of your body is something of an oddity, unless of course it has been achieved through some sort of medical procedure. One of the reasons why people were outraged by this is because it suggested that the character she was playing was once again a sex icon rather than a figure of empowerment. Regardless, the footage wasn’t changed and while kicking ass Gal Gadot also looked like a supermodel.

Perhaps this is a little unfair, setting the bar of beauty and fitness at unrealistic standards. One of the issues of portrayals like this is that it covers traits of the body that we see as imperfections but are actually natural. You might even think that the standard of beauty is now impossibly high, but you’d be surprised. If there are natural imperfections that you feel self-conscientious about it is possible to change them through a variety of different possibilities.

Let’s start by continuing to think about hair on the body.

The Curse Of The Upper Lip

It’s a common misconception that only men have facial hair. This isn’t true. There are some women with hormone imbalances and get similar amounts of facial hair to men and most, if not all, women do have a certain level of hair around their upper lip and chin. Usually, this hair is so thin, fine and rare that it is barely noticeable. However, if you are very self-conscientious, you might notice it particularly in the age of the selfie. But what can you do about it? Well, if it is really bothering you, you can get it removed through laser treatment. It’s actually possible to get any hair on your body permanently removed, and we do mean anywhere. According to Montana Medical Aesthetics Clinic, the procedures to do this aren’t actually painful, intrusive or indeed that expensive. So, you can do consider this an option, and a lot of women do.

It’s hard to blame them because it’s not just Gal Gadot who looks flawless on screen. Many of the celebrities do, and it’s easy to forget that they have probably been in makeup for hours, been digitally enhanced and been put on strict workout routines and diets. Still, if it really bothers you, this is definitely something you should consider.

Stubby Lashes

We all want our eyes to pop beautifully and immediately dazzle whoever we are talking to, but how do you do this when you’re born with short lashes. Short eyelashes are common and very few people have the lengthy lashes that make the eyes pop. It’s another natural beauty imperfection that you might feel a little weird about. But there’s good news on that front because it is possible to get permanent lashes fixed to your eyelids. These will be longer and thicker than your natural lashes, and they can be made out of completely artificial materials. If you do have short lashes and you hate them, you have probably tried fakes. But the ones that aren’t permanent are a nightmare, and if they slip or get misplaced, they can spoil your evening. With permanent lashes, you’ll never have to worry and always get the movie star look you’ve been hoping for.

Mellow Yellow

Perhaps you have noticed that your teeth are looking fifty shades of yellow. There’s a good chance this has happened if you’re constantly on the go and you’re using coffee to keep yourself awake. Coffee drinkers will always have dark stained teeth rather than the while little pearls. But what can you do about it? Well, this time, you don’t need a cosmetic procedure, and you certainly don’t need minimal surgery. Instead, you can fix the issue yourself with the right home treatment.

All you need is lemon juice and baking soda. By mixing the two together, you can make sure that your teeth look shiny and new once more with a beautiful white shine. This will take a couple months, and if you want to get faster results, you can get a teeth whitening treatment. Be aware though if your teeth were yellow because of plague, whitening will only fix the surface level issue.

Another natural imperfection that you might hate about yourself is the straightness of your teeth. Contrary to believe most people don’t have naturally straight teeth. Some go to the orthodontist to get this fixed early in childhood, and others leave it. If you didn’t get treatment when you were a child but want it now, you might think you’re out of luck, but that’s not true. You just need to explore smile therapy. This can be a quick and easy way to correct your teeth that won’t be noticeable because it works on the back of your teeth. As such, not even your closest family members will be able to tell that your teeth are being corrected.

Stretching It

You might think that stretch marks are an issue that is caused by weight gain and in particular an unhealthy lifestyle, but that’s not the case. Stretch Marks are caused by any change to your body including putting on muscle, dropping fat quickly or even getting pregnant. If you want to avoid stretch marks as much as possible, it’s best to avoid any sudden changes to your body shape and instead work to correct whatever imperfects you see with your figure slowly. If you already have stretch marks they can be removed with creams available on the market. You don’t need surgery although older stretch marks may require more intensive methods if you want them to be gone completely.

As you can see then, you don’t have to let these natural imperfections destroy your confidence. You can deal with them head-on with these tips, techniques, and possibilities.
