I received a pair of pipit shoes in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
If you have been following this blog for a while, then you probably know about my shoe thing…Yes, I have a shoe obsession, and I am always looking for new brands for both me and the kids to try. I am especially picky when it comes to the kiddos shoes, why? Well the way you take care of their feet now will reflect later in life and since I do have feet problems, I want to make sure my kids do not face the same types of issues I do. That is why I try to stick to shoe brands like my newly found Pipit that has the little feet development at heart.
Pipit shoes
Being a part of the Badorf Kids brands family, the Pipit shoes are manufactured in an eco-friendly process and have European quality standards, but most importantly, the brand has the mission of being kind to kids.
The brand offers a wide selection of toddler shoes ranging in sizes from 1 through 8.5 with a very unique design.
As a matter of fact, the design was the first thing that caught my eye and I fell in love with the looks of the shoes and even more so when I had the chance to hold one of these designs in my hands.
The pipit Jack design
True to size, the Jack features premium, multi-tone full grain/ultra-soft suede leather upper, breathable dye-free leather lining and cushioned leather lined foot-bed. There are no seams in the inside along with a padded collar to ensure the little feet will be comfortable all day.
The jack also features a strap ‘hook and loop’ Velcro closure that allows you to fit the shoes as needed and also makes putting the shoes on and taking them off a lot easier. In addition, the Jack has flexible, Slip-Resistant Rubber Outsoles and non-marking sole.
I love the shoes, but the baby seems to love them even more and I guess that has a lot to do with the comfort level. He just started to walk and is at that age where he thinks his feet should be free at all times so he is constantly taking his shoes off and throwing them. With these shoes, he does not seem to mind having his shoes on and that is a big plus for me.
The shoes are available in two different colors. I fell in love with the brown / stone which is combination of a brown, camel and stone colors that are great all year around and will match basically anything you dress your little guy in. The wide stitching on the sole gives it a little rugged touch that I must say, I really like.
So now you know if you are looking for a different look for your little guy or girl this holiday season that is also comfortable and with European charm, that you need to take a look at the pipit catalog!
