Being able to enjoy the day with my mother and father and other family members. They are older and have both had health issues. I would like it if there wasn’t any anxiety but that usually happens but that is what life is about.
A perfect mother’s day would start out with breakfast in bed including a single rose on the tray. Then, a nice outing to the park to walk, fly a kite or just relax on a blanket. Once the afternoon is over, I would have my mom over for a nice dinner.
I would sleep late and wake to breakfast in bed. I’d read for a while then my children and grandchildren would come over and spend the day with me.
It would be a warm and sunny day. My husband would fix a lovely breakfast and we would eat out on the back deck while the dogs play. Then all of my kids would come by with boxes of really good chocolate and by afternoon we would drink a glass of wine. I would finish the day by watching a Downton Abby marathon and no one would complain about it!
My Mothers Day usually begins with my children fixing me a cup of coffee, they bring me a rose that has to be planted.I sit while they (4 adults)fix me a dinner. After the dinner ,they do the dishe, cleaning the kitchen(Thank goodness, they are messy cooks)Then we all load up the cars and go to the grave site of my youngest child. We plant the rose and clean out the flower beds, just sitting and spend time with our baby. This happens every year and I am so thankful.
It would be perfect if I get to be ‘selfish’ for one day: going shopping, being pampered at the spa, going to nice restaurants, taking a nap, no babysitting my family at all. In short, my ideal Mother’s Day would be with ZERO worries and fuss.
My perfect Mother’s Day would be a romantic dinner, a gift (jewelry or clothes!) lol and a special day with my kids and my husband. THAT would be the best mothers day. Oh and to see MY mom too. Thanks! xoxox
My perfect Mothers Day begins with going out to breakfast and then going some where that I like or that I have never been. My family has taken me to Philadelphia to spend the day and the boardwalk. It is a great day for the whole family something for everyone. We then come home and grill.
I think the age factor for each individual Mother and the number of children they have, would determine what a perfect mother’s day would be. For me, and my 55 yr of age, I don’t expect to receive gifts from my only daughter because she’s a mother now and in her younger years. The older I get and the more health issues that come in to play in our lives, such as my husbands colon cancer and chemo we just went through, I treasure just a meaningful visit with my family. And to see her embrace her dad with a hug. That’s a blessing that comes from the heart. But should I be granted a wish, then my idea of a perfect mother’s day would be to go on a family ride where we all fit in one car, no cell phones, headed to a not far away destination that would allow us to have conversations about the things in life we remembered or want to do as a family and be reminded that God continues to bless us in love as a family. Then enjoy a good meal with more laughter amongst us. And add that just one more precious memorie, to our days left here on this earth.
I think the perfect Mother’s day would be to start off with a nice breakfast of french toast with some bacon and eggs, followed by a trip to the garden park nearby, a nice nap, pedicure by myself, and then a fun dinner at the mexican place.
My perfect day would be to get to sleep in. When i woke up the dishes would be done and put away. then my family would take me out to breakfast. i would get to spend the day watching my favorite movies with my favorite snacks and drinks with beautiful flowers and nobody would ask me for anything. then we would either go out to dinner or my husband would cook or order in. as long as i dont have to cook it i dont care! and maybe throw in a mani pedi and i would be in mama heaven!!
I would love a day of relaxation. A spa day would be like a slice of heaven! Of course, I wouldn’t want to do any cooking or cleaning, so some take out for dinner would be awesome, too. 🙂
A perfect Mother’s Day for me would be working at our Mother’s Day Brunch (for overtime hours!) and getting to eat from the brunch buffet as well. And then the rest of the day to relax and read a good book, cuddled up with my dogs.
The perfect Mother’s Day for me would be getting my daughter and granddaughter along with my self and my mom to my grandmothers house. Spending the day and having a 5 generation picture taken.
Getting to sleep in and then going to brunch. I would not have to get up early. I would not have to cook.
first of all i would want to maybe sleep in a little ! .. then i think the best mothers day is just to be able to spend it with the family .. without any electronics or having to do anything that day, just a true family day ! thats what i would want
My ideal Mother’s Day would be to get a fabulous present – a pair of shoes or an amazing bag from my hubby and a night on the town!
Well, my Mom has been recovering from a bad fall for over a year & a half now. So, I would say having her home again is a start. She is home, she can walk with a walker and get around really well. Being able to have my niece & nephews (her grandkids) here would be her idea of a great Mother’s Day.
My perfect Mother’s Day would be the kids not fighting all day and having some peace. I’d make a cake for myself or get one from Dairy Queen. I’d also love getting to eat out.
Everyone leaves me alone and I sleep all day.
My perfect Mother’s Day would be spending a day with my mom. I would love to take her out to eat. She also loves going to the spa.
Honestly the perfect Mother’s Day is when my husband and son remember and do anything nice. I especially love when they cook for me or bring me something special to eat, maybe a special treat too.
A perfect Mother’s Day would be a nice brunch followed by a walk with my husband and hugs from my kids. It would be great not to have to wash dishes.
Spending the day with my 3 sons and my 3 grandchildren would make my mother’s day perfect.
My perfect Mother’s Day would be a backyard pool party and barbecue with my children! We’d have a blast cooking, eating, and swimming together. Afterwards, we could watch the sunset together, for a beautiful ending to our perfect day!
My perfect mothers day would include actually being with my mom instead of only getting to call her. We live on opposite sides of the country. She’s the best and I miss her terribly.
Taking my mother to get lunch and maybe some thrifting afterward! She has requested me to cook this year, though, and I actually prefer to do that! 🙂 I love to cook for my family.
I think the perfect Mother’s Day would involve a bit of magic because I would want my grandmothers to be there and they both passed away a long time ago! I’d love to sit down with them and have a nice lunch and listen to their stories and get their advice on things! Of course, my mom would be there, too! <3
Being able to sleep in and have breakfast in bed. Basically to just relax. Maybe have a spa treatment done, and relax with family.
Thanks for the chance to win this

My perfect Mother’s Day would be one spent with all my grown children. Starting out with the day off from work. Sleeping in a little and having everyone over for dinner and comedy movies. We could just order pizza , it wouldn’t have to be a big deal about the food.
My perfect Mothers Day would be having all my kids and grandkids over. It would be nice if my daughter’s and daughters-in-law could do all of the cooking. Lol. Yes that would be a perfect Mothers Day.
My perfect Mothers Day would start with all my kids coming over with flowers and cards. Then they would take me out to dinner and we would come back to the house for desert and to play some cards!
My perfect Mother’s Day would be meeting my grandchildren. I have 3 granddaughters, ages 9, 7, and 2 months, and I’ve even seen them, due to circumstances. I’d love to get on a plane and go visit with them, and shower them with gifts and love. Grandchildren are meant to be spoiled, and I really want to do it!
My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day is to spend time with my kids and my mom. Sometimes we enjoy going out to lunch on Mother’s Day. I like when my kids make me cards.
A perfect mother’s day would start out with breakfast in bed . Then, couple or more hours in a spa with my mom and sister. Later the picnic in a park with my whole family and a nice family movie with a lot of ice-cream.

Having the kids pick up after themselves without being told would be a wonderful change of pace. A calm, peaceful day with no worries.
My perfect Mothers Day is having a quiet day with my family. That means no phones or electronic toys allowed (except if we leave we have one for emergencies). Then the day is pretty open for anything, flying kites, road trip, picnic, depends on the weather. and to finish the day off, I don’t have to make dinner.
My ideal Mother’s Day would to get my mom back. she passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago at age 55. If I could have her back for just one day, that would be my ideal mother’s day.

I am a snowbird and spend my winters in Florida away from my family.
I always try to go back to my home around the first of May so that I can be with my children and grandchildren on Mother’s Day. That makes it perfect for me because I miss them terribly during the time I’m away from them.
I’m one of those weird people who doesn’t like sleeping in too much, but I’d like to be able to get up a little later than normal and have some relaxing me time – a few hours of quiet with a good book and tea. Then maybe a really nice massage before spending the rest of the day with family and friends.
My perfect Mother’s Day would start with my husband getting up with the kids and letting me sleep. I’d wake up to a clean house and breakfast. He would then bathe and dress the kids for the day and tell me to go get a mani and pedi, and enter giveaways for as long as I want. He would take care of the kids all day and change all diapers. Then for dinner we would all go out to eat and spend the evening together.
I would say a relaxing day. A great dinner and a movie sounds fun. The important thing is being surrounded by loved ones.
I know what my wife’s idea of a perfect Mother’s Day would be. First she likes to have the kids come over with the Grandkids. Then she likes to have some kind of cookout, it can be a Crawfish boil or a BBQ, as long as everyone is together she is happy. Then to end the day, she likes to go to the casino and hit a few slots.

My mom is happy with just getting flowers. I am taking her out to dinner this year. Thanks for the giveaway!

I would love to sleep in and then head to brunch with my husband and toddler daughter. If I could get a nap I would be extatic! I’d love to end the day with my mom and the extended family and have dinner where the men cook and clean up after! I do hope to get a card drawn by my daughter this year. She just started “drawing” and I love how much she enjoys giving them to people. 🙂
The perfect Mother’s Day starts with my boy making me breakfast (and then cleaning the the kitchen) — then we would have a nice day together doing something fun like going to the zoo.
A perfect Mother’s Day would take your mother out to breakfast/brunch or deliver her meal to her in bed (: which is always a plus if you have small children. Have a picnic in the park and do her nails/give her a back massage I know my mom loves that I will probably get her a gift card to spa day and a nice homemade dinner.
My perfect mothers day would consist of going down to our fave beach spot and spend the weekend with my whole family all the aunts and uncles and cousins like we used to do for mothers day..I miss that getting away with the whole bunch so much..
I never had children of my own so I’ve never really celebrated Mother’s day (even when I was a step-Mom). Currently I’m caring for my own mother and sort of feel like a mother now so my perfect day would be a spa day. A day where I don’t have to worry about her being happy or her meals, etc. I’d get a massage, a facial, a mani-pedi and do whatever I felt like afterwords.
My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day is going to worship with my family. Then all of us would go out to brunch and then home to just spend time together visiting and having a good time. Maybe hang out on the deck and make some homemade ice cream.
Drive to the coast for a delicious & scenic lunch, then go to a play.

My perfect Mother’s Day is simply a relaxing day with a lunchtime picnic in the park. Nice sunny day and family around.
My favorite Mother’s Day would be for me to spend some time with all 6 of my son’s, the two girlfriends included and we would either play board games, watch movie or whatever. They would take care of dinner and the dinner clean up. I’d get something pretty from the jewelry store and be treated to a spa day with message, hair care, pedi. and an acupuncture treatment.
I have no idea. Time spent with my family is great. I wouldn’t mind a true surprise, like something I have always wanted and never expected to get.
My idea of a perfect mother’s day is starting the day doing a 5k run with my mom. We would then go out for brunch and then a nice long walk. Then we would shop the rest of the day.
I am not a picky mom. I love it when the family comes over and we bbq outside and play outdoor games. Just hanging together & spending family time. After they all leave, a nice bubble bath with a glass of white wine 🙂

My perfect Mother’s Day would be to have my kids in town and enjoying a nice cook out together on the deck.
Mother’s Day is going to be perfect as long as I’m getting to spend it with my mom. A few years ago she battled and survived cancer and it was really scary thinking I could lose her. Last year my Sister, Niece and I took my Mom to a farmers market, a nice lunch and for a drive around Seattle. We had so much fun that we are going to do something similar this year. The plan is to take a ferry to Bainbridge Island and go to some shops then onto Paulsbo for more shopping.

MY perfect Mother’s Day would indeed be for me to NOT WASH ONE dish for one day. Yes, I would dream of the husband actually washing his dirty dishes after his spectacular huge breakfasts and lunches he makes. *sigh* he always leaves it all for ME to do. EVEN if I had work that day. It’s getting old. I would LOVE to be taken out to a lovely dinner with the whole family, too! That would be heavenly.

My idea of a perfect mother’s day is to wake up to find all my children have come home. They are all in the kitchen laughing and making a big family breakfast. Then spending the entire day with me. No special gifts, just my family.
A perfect Mother’s Day would start with coffee in bed and a nice breakfast made by my kids and husband. Then we would take my Mom out for lunch to celebrate. Later we could go shopping or go see a movie.
My idea of a perfect mother’s day is a day at the spa with my hubby and daughter. After the spa we would go to our fave restaurant to have dinner and close the night by going to Yogurt Land.

A perfect mother’s day, for me, would be presenting my mom with a house and a car! lol Ok, so that would be a “money is no object” kind of dream. Barring all that money, my idea of a perfect mother’s day would be to take my mom out to a nice breakfast, give her a bunch of pretty roses and stop by her favorite shop to get her a little something nice 🙂
My perfect Mother’s Day is going to the zoo with the grandkids.

I would try to make a perfect Mother’s Day for my mom by arriving at her house early and letting her sleep late, perhaps waking up to the breakfast aromas from the kitchen. Naturally there would also be a huge pot of coffee. Once she ate and drank her coffee, I’d call my wife to come on over and bring the kids. After she opened her presents, I would clean the kitchen and let her have a quiet day at home. We’d all be back to take her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant.
The perfect mothers day would be me spending time with my kids. I know a lot of people want a kid free day for mothers day, but the reason I am a mother is because of my kids. We would spend the day together by going to lunch pr dinner and a movie. I am a single mom and my kids are my life.
The perfect Mother’s Day for me would be sleeping in. Wake up and have a brunch with my kids and grandkids. Where they would give me my coveted picture of ALL THREE grandkids looking at the camera and smiling AT THE SAME time!! Then a girl movie on the couch with a glass of wine!!

Afterwards, we would enjoy the day at Olive Garden and then relax for the rest of the day!
Getting treated like a queen and spending all day with my son and husband.

I’m not a mom, but I would spend time with my mom and talk about old times. Look at pictures and get her something nice.

My idea of a perfect mothers day would be spending the whole day with my family. Of course, with my children getting along. 🙂 Going to the beach sounds perfect! And a good dinner that I don’t have to make. Also, having my mother there with me would be the greatest joy!

being with all my kidlets and their babies in one place for the day! Having lots of good food and laughs and baby kisses. Perfect day!
Unfortunately, I lost my own mother a few years ago so I’ll never have my “perfect” Mother’s Day, but the closest would be for all three of my daughters to be with me for the day. My youngest daughter lives about six hours away and between not being able to get of work and her having issues with her car, won’t be here. My oldest daughter lives away from home, too, but isn’t too far from me and she and her fiancee will be joining my middle daughter and me for dinner that day. It’s not the most perfect situation, but at least I get to see two of my daughters on Mother’s Day.
My idea of a perfect Mothers Day is to be surrounded by your children and family enjoying a dinner and some time with them. I don’t feel it is necessary to spend money and go out to eat because restaurants are usually so busy on this day and noisy that sometimes it is hard to hear the people you are with. This year will be my 2nd Mothers Day without my only son, but I am hoping that we will be able to have our daughter, my grandaughter and my grandson with my hubby and me. It will also be a fantastic day, because I am retireing on May 15th, Yeahhh
My perfect mothers day is everyday i am blessed with my children daily and we hopefully will though and my son will cook me breakfast this mothers day he is into learning things in the kitchen so i am looking forward to it
A perfect mothers day for me would begin with sleeping in as long as I want! Then getting to do something for myself, like a pedicure. I also would love to spend time with my husband and daughter and do something nice as a family. I can’t wait for mothers day art projects from my daughter!
My perfect day would begin with breakfast in bed fixed by my husband. I would love for my daughter and grandkids to come over and either cook out by the pool. My mom lives pretty far away, so I don’t get to see her on Mother’s day, but I would love to if I could.
I would love to get all the mother’s together like my mom and sister aunts, ect. I like when we get to spend time together. I would like for us to make dinner for the moms.
My perfect Mother’s Day would go like this! Breakfast & coffee in bed would start my day. Next, church service with my family. Next, we’d go out to lunch. Finally, we’d have a fun day at the zoo.
I would like to spend the day with my mother, doing anything she’d like. I think we will go to dinner and maybe a movie. I’ll leave the kids home and relax with my mom.
I think the perfect Mother’s Day is spending time with my three kids and husband. They usually like to surprise me with some kind of treat. A lot of times we go to dinner on Saturday night to avoid some of the crowds.
My idea of the perfect Mother’s Day is just spending time with my mom. Going out to lunch or shopping. She never wants anything so it’d be nice to take her out 🙂
My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day is getting to spend time with my mom. She lives over 600 miles from me, so I don’t get to see her very often. Even something as simple as going to eat at a nice restaurant would mean the world to me. When my mom is around, I know everything will be all right. Everyone needs their mom.
I would love to have my kids over. And have a picnic and just visit with my family. That would be my perfect day.
My perfect Mother’s Day actually occurs every year on Mother’s Day. Guess this is because my children are my world! They are what keeps me going day to day. No day in my house is ever perfect because I am a mother of 3 Angels. It’s always hectic, one crying over a boyfriend, one crying because she can’t find something important and my just turned 4 year old son, crying because the day ends in “y”. But this Mother’s Day will be perfect because I will have all 3 Angels with me, trying to be on their best behavior, because it’s Mother’s Day lol:)
My idea for a perfect Mother’s Day for my mom or grandma is to buy them flowers and take them out to eat. They don’t mind getting anything as long as we’re there with them and tell them how much we love them. I have plans on buying them gifts! 🙂
Relaxing lunch, followed by an afternoon of playing games with family.
for mother’s day, I love to wake up to flowers and breakfast. or we’ll go out for breakfast food at another time of day. mostly, I like to spend the day at a spa getting a massage in peace and quiet.
A relaxing day with family and a nice meal. Would love just a great peaceful day with them! Any day spent with them is great! 🙂
A perfect Mother’s Day? I can dream, right?
I would wake up a little later than usual to breakfast in bed, served by my whole smiling family. There would be a bud vase with a single flower on the tray. They would clean the kitchen after making breakfast. They would have worked up my flower beds and made them gorgeous for me. We would go for a nice dinner. There would be a playoff game where our team wins. Somewhere, chocolate would be involved.
A perfect Mother’s Day would be taking my grandmother out to lunch just me and her. I think she would enjoy it. She was there for me through everything and she deserves the best.
I will celebrating my first Mother’s day this year as I am expecting in September. I don’t really know what to expect!
My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day is to cater to all of Mom’s favorites. For example, she loves to shop so give her a gift card to her favorite department store or her favorite restaurant. Also, give her something that helps her relax, like a facial or a massage.
I’;d like to go to lunch and have a cocktail with my family.
My mother still alive. Flowers for her. Dinner with her, my sister and her kids.
The day would start with coffee made, kids up, no fighting, someone else cooks lunch, go vist my mom in afternoon with her a great dinner. Then get to bed on time.
A great start with all the family together. Big breakfast with pancake & Bacon & Sausage w / a tall glass of pineapple juice..Movie time and talk & nap .AWWW then we all go enjoy a walk & visit the nature and animals on the walk way.Home for chit – chat all evening long till bed time. What a great day .
My idea of a great Mother’s Day is spending it with my mom and sister! Thankfully I will be able to this year!

My perfect mothers day would just be hanging out at home. Staying in bed with my son and hubby for a while. REalxing, no chore would be great!
The perfect mother’s day would be just a nice dinner with the whole family!
I suppose just being able to make my Mother happy. Sometimes the holiday can feel too blase, like something to get done with. I don’t ever want my mother to feel like we rush through it though, so my perfect Mother’s Day is simply one my mother enjoys.
My perfect idea for mother’s day is a quiet morning with my hubby & daughter by the lake. Also, maybe a Movie later that DAY; ) I Wouldn’t mind a nice scenic drive for breakfast also.
My idea of a perfect Mother’s Day would, first of all, to sleep in past 8 am. That would be a huge treat. Then I’d like to have donuts from Krispy Kreme for breakfast. After that, we’d head to the beach and grab tacos on the way home later!
My perfect Mother’s Day is enjoying time with family!! Going out to dinner is on the list so I don’t have to do dishes. I also would love to go to the zoo or park something that I get to see my kids smile doing so I remember all the reasons I love being a mom!!
My perfect mothers day would stay out with being able to sleep in. Then I would love to have breakfast with my family. Then I would just love to spend the day with my husband and 2 Boys. As long as we are together then my day is great!
Growing up, my moms favorite mothers days were when we let her sleep in and cooked a homemade breakfast. We always made her homemade thoughtful gifts that meant so much to her.
Nice homemade breakfast. Go out for a walk, lunch or dinner out to favorite restaurant or home!!
A perfect mother’s day first requires everyone to be off of work during the day so we could spend time together. Other than that, I like our tradition of making a large, excessive brunch while my mother just chills. We eat while reminiscing about the horrible mother’s day breakfasts we prepared for our mother when we were little kids.
My ideal Mother’s Day would be to hop on a plane and head to Disney World. I would like to dine at either Be Our Guest or 1900 Park Fare. They’re my favorite restaurants at Disney. I know my mom and I would really enjoy it, but Olive Garden will do just fine! 😉
My perfect Mother’s Day would be spending the day with my girls having a nice dinner somewhere that I love to eat, and maybe taking in a movie or going bowling. It would just be nice to spend time with them! Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway!

My perfect mother’s day would be split two ways. I’d love to have lots of wonderful time with my family and then at least a good hour or two to relax by myself while my husband handles everything, perhaps in the afternoon so I can get a luxurious nap in! Overall, though, I just want to see my child happy and healthy 🙂
I like to spend time with the family. I would love a special breakfast, and then a day of just being together. I would much rather just have it low key.
I would start by making my mom breakfast in bed. Then I would take her for a mani/pedi followed by lunch. I would then let her relax while I made her dinner.
I would love to go to the beach or lake for Mother’s Day. I love spending time with my family and would also love to spend it with my mother. I do not get to see her as often as I’d like.
I would love to have breakfast in bed. Get sent for a spa day. Get to enjoy peace and quite through out the day.
I’d like to be woken up with breakfast and flowers. Then we would go out for a family picknick. Or take an overnight trip.
If I could have anything I would like to see my Mom and Dad again. They died several years ago. We would go to the lake and watch the boats and the kids play. Later we would have a picnic by the lake. My kids and husband would be there of course. It’s nice to dream!

My perfect mothers day would be to spend the whole day with my mom and sisters. Having lunch, seeing a movie, or just taking a walk and having a small picnic!
Hopefully, take it easy for the day. I would like to relax. My preference would be to stay at home. However, if everyone wants to go out to eat, that’s OK by me, too
My idea of a perfect Mothers’ Day would be one where my mom and my family, my MIL and my husband’s family, and all our kids would all be in the same place so we could celebrate together. No one would cook; we’d have enough pizza delivered to satisfy everyone. We would use paper plates so there would be no dishes to do. We would all be in great moods as we sat in the shade and enjoyed each others’ company. Also, no gifts over $10 allowed. Sigh.
I hope that all the mom’s have a peaceful and joyful day with their families. Sometimes we don’t make it thru breakfast without the typical bickering starting. We’ve tried to do some special family activity. Sometimes it’s just brunch but we have hiked or visited the zoo or a museum. Sometimes there is a movie we’ want to go to.
My perfect Mother’s Day would include fresh coffee and a croissant on a tray in bed
My idea of a perfect mothers day would probably sound a bit lame. Since my children show me plenty of love and appreciation all year, I like to go a different rout. Of course I won’t my breakfast, but this year I’m requesting a zombie marathon. last year it was a Bruce Willis marathon, starting with Die Hard =) I love that my wonderful kids roll their eyes and tease me about my horrible taste but then actually seem to enjoy the day.
A perfect Mother’s day would be a pamper mom day with no cooking, and cleaning. A day of enjoyment by doing mom’s favorite things like shopping, dining out or an outing to the movies.

Being able to sleep and having my husband clean the house.
Breakfast in bed. After breakfast coming down the stairs to find the house cleaned the way I would clean it. Then a walk or bicycle ride with the family and a nice BBQ dinner sitting out in the back yard.
A perfect mother’s day means I don’t have to cook or clean all day. I don’t need big gifts. I would like some hugs and an I love you.
My perfect idea of a mother’s day is by them not making me cook all day and a nice day relaxing or doing something fun.
My perfect Mother’s Day would be sleeping in. Then I would like to go to brunch. Then I would like to relax!!!
A perfect Mother’s Day would be a perfect, sunny day. Our whole family would be gathered for a delicious dinner. We usually go out to eat so that the mothers do not have to do any work.
Sleeping in and waking up to breakfast in bed. Then going to the farmers market to get some kettle corn and then our favorite curry for lunch. We would take my favorite hike along the falls and then sushi for dinner. That was last year, I can’t wait to see what they do for me this year.
For Mother’s Day I like to get together with both of my parents. We always go out to lunch or dinner.

My daughter is almost 30 and I enjoy just spending time with her. She will go out of her way to do things with me that I enjoy like backpacking or bicycling. Spending time like that in the outdoors takes away possible interruptions like a text or IM. However, it’s gonna be a little different now that she is a mom.
My ideal perfect Mother’s Day would consist of sleeping in. Then I’d like to go out for a nice dinner where I didn’t have to cook or clean up. Afterwards I’d love to go out for frozen yogurt and take a nice walk around town while eating it.

The best mother’s day in my mind would involve me not having to wake up until noon (just kidding, maybe, lol). Another thing is I would not have to worry about getting my child up/dressed/fed/entertained. I just want a simple break to be able to restart and refresh myself so I am back at my best taking care of my little one. I feel like I keep going and going and going with no real mental break.
The perfect mothers day for me would start off with breakfast in bed. Maybe some waffles or pancakes made by my girls, with the help of their dad since they’re so young they wouldn’t be able to do it alone. Then I get up to get a nice long shower alone, nobody calling me from under the door, haha. Then I’d come out to find all the laundry done and put away. While I’m smiling with excitement, I’m told I have a appt to get my hair and nails done that afternoon. Perfect!
i would get breakfast in bed, which would consist of french toast and coffee and bacon. then i would watch a movie while i get my feet rubbed, and later we’d go out to eat or to a movie!

Not that I’m any of the mothers but…..
I’d say a good mothers day would be taking my wife out for a nice dinner (first mothers day for her). Stopping by with our little guy to see the mother-in-law and visiting. Then running across town and spending some time with my mom for a bit. Somewhere in all of this we give my grandmother a call and wish her a happy mothers day as well!
