If you have a little one between the ages of 3 and 6 you are probably familiar with the TV shows Chuggington and the Dinosaur Train. Both are good shows for small kids and two of the ladybug’s favorites. These are two cartoons, that you don’t have to worry about the characters being rude or using a vocabulary that you might not want your kids to use.
Learning Curve offers developmental toys that engage children, and provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are being inspired and enlightened by safe and quality playthings. And their care, safety, feeding and soothing products provide you with solutions including day-to-day needs at mealtime, bedtime, at home and on-the-go.
The Learning Curve has launched a collection of the Chugginton and Dinosaur Train characters and I was able to try both lines first hand.
Training Yard with Loop Playset. Some assembly is require but once you figure out the instructions, it is not any more difficult than any other toy. The instructions are a little vague, it took me about ten minutes to set up the Training Yard. The set includes a die-cast Wilson engine and a Vee figure( two of the main characters in the show). The Training Yard Loop features a launcher that will propel Wilson the train through a 360 degrees over head loop that kids find really exciting.
The Training yard looks like any of the scenes from the show making the little ones enjoy even more with the adorable characters. The one thing I would change on the toy is that the launcher is really noisy and can be distracting for the parents even though the noise doesn’t seem to bother the kids.
Operating the Training yard is really simple, all you need to do is simply place the engine (Wilson) on the hook at the top, press the launcher button gently and then watch the engine take off. Batteries are not included.
The Dinosaur Train line is a collection of interactive dinosaur characters from the TV show that makes a stomping sound and roars. If your little one is anything like mine, the dinosaur trains are something they will love and enjoy. The toys are gender neutral as you’ll find that both girls and boys will fall for the cute dinosaurs.
I had the chance to try two of the different characters: Tank which is a Triceratops and Boris the Tyrannosaur. Depending on the character they will be able to make different sounds and noises and will be able to speak anywhere from 40 to 70 different phrases. If you have more than one kid, this toy would make a great holiday present as they talk to each other when you position them one in front of the other and press the button all over their bodies.
This is really a neat interactive toy to develop your kids arability to share and play pretend games and even if you only have one kid like me she will love playing with the dinosaurs…..The ladybug even wanted to take Boris to bed!
I am planning on getting the rest of the line and giving one to each of the ladybug’s little cousins so they can have a dinosaur play date when they get together; it should be a lot of roaring fun! The batteries are already installed in the toys.
You can find this and all the Learning Curve products at selected retailers across the country.
