Do you have dental insurance? At 8 years old, we have already spent over $ 4,000 in dental work for my daughter. Most of it done on was on her baby teeth and that is just the tip of the iceberg as she needs braces… Usually when I have to have any dental work done, I fly to the Dominican Republic…I get to see friends and family, and have a little vacation.
Even paying for the plane ticket and the dental work I pay a lot less money than having a big dental procedure done here, unfortunately I can’t jump on a plane every time I have a tooth ache or my daughter gets a cavity.

The Cigna Dental Insurance plan sounds good for me, I read through quite a few of the policies. That took me like an hour, so I would definitely still need to go back and do more comparisons. This is a really awesome resource thank you so much!! I am really glad that I stumbled upon this one!!
Cigna 1500 Dental Insurance Plan would probably be the best for us. I will have to investigate that a little more in terms of cost benefit. And of course there is the caveat that prices are determined by age. Being 66 years old I am sure the cost will be much higher than the cost they show on the web site. When I have looked at dental insurance and dental discount plans in the past and done a cost analysis I have found that none of them gives me a significant enough savings to be bothered. Doesn’t do any good to save on the dentist visit if you are paying that much or more for coverage!
Their Access Dental Plan would work best for me. It is relatively inexpensive yet offers nice discounts on different procedures. Dental costs are sky high now days!
The Dominion 7000X Individual Program would work best for us. My kids need protective sealants on their teeth and I know that can be expensive per tooth. We area always at the dentist. I think we have spent almost $2000 on dental bills so far this year.
The Aetna- Vital Savings By Aetna® Dental Discount Family Program would work great for us. To start, our current dentist accepts the Aetna plans available here so that is definitly a big plus. In addition, we have a daughter that will soon be going into braces so the discount on those is even a bigger plus for us. My husband has problems that stem back to a bike accident in childhood so his teeth are very week so the discounts would really be a benefit for us.
The Vital Savings by Aetna would be good. I know that the dentist we like takes Aetna so that would be nice.
The plans are not available here in Vermont but I looked at the Dental Insurance ones and there are few possibilities. The fact is though that since I am 62 the rates would be higher than stated for me. I am looking for a new dentist since I just moved here so will need to see what plans they may take first.
the Careington Care 500 Series plan may work for us. it is available for families in our zip code. plus, it was the lowest price available.
I am single and I currently have the Sele-Dent plan that I won a year of and it’s about to expire. I just saw a dentist a week ago and will be needing several fillings replaced, winning this would be great so I can get this done at a much cheaper rate.
