I received a broken doll costume for this review. I was not financially compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part
Halloween is literally just around the corner and of course we want to be ready for what is one of my daughter’s favorite events. Since she is now 8 years old and “all grownup now”, we wanted to try something different from the princess outfits and decided to go with a super cute doll costume from the Costume Super Center and this was the perfect choice as it is not too childish but is not too adult either…No matter what she thinks, she still ONLY 8 years old!
Girl’s Broken Doll Costume
The Girl’s Broken Doll Costume comes with a cute and lightweight black and white dress (awesome for me, we live in Florid and it is still really hot out – our first coldspell usually doesn’t occur till after Halloween). The dress is primary black with some white stripes and a hot pink heart that has stitches all over along with some large stitches along the top and the skirt to give the costume that broken doll look that we are trying to achieve.
The costume includes a black choker, hair bow, and footless slip tights to complete the look. The white tights have black markings so they can resemble cracks to keep with the broken doll theme.
You can add a wig to your costume to match the pink colored heart to give an even more realistic look and makeup is a must with this costume, which by the way fits very true to size.
The dress that is part of the Costume Super Center new arrivals, is also comfortable so your kids can go trick or treating, look great, and still be comfortable while walking around collecting their candy.
One of my favorite costumes so far! The Girl’s Broken Doll Costume has a retail price of $38.99, but you can use discount code X20 for a 20 percent off leaving the dress at $31.19.
