It is week five and while the scale has not moved this week, I can certainly see a difference and people can see a difference and keep telling me how much weight I have lost. They ask me what I am doing to achieve this in such a short period of time!
By now I have my routine well established and train for 30 minutes with my trainer 2 times a week and walk with the baby (or both babies on Saturday) for about 2 to 3 miles…They love these walks and it is a great bonding activity for us and momma gets her exercise , so a win- win situation here.
I have received a few complements
Yep, I have friends that have not seen me in a while commenting on how good I look and how quick I am losing the baby weight even though the scale only shows a 5 pound weight loss. The truth is, I feel lighter, my clothes fit better, and my pant size is down about 2 sizes, so woo-hoo!
I am not the kind of person to look for complements, BUT I have to admit that it feels amazing when people can actually see what I have been working for. It encourages me to stay focused, and the best part is that I am totally committed and actually enjoy eating healthier and exercising. Starting any new routine is always hard, but all you need to do is start and things will get easier each day.
At this point in time I am totally enjoying, both my diet and work outs…And this is something I never thought could be possible, so if I can do it, ANYONE can do it!
This past week I have improved my water intake and my energy level is a lot better, to the point that I have started taking the baby for short walks before bed time… This is a great way to take advantage of the energy and converting it into something positive, right?
I have been on the Leaf website a few times looking for recipes and tips and have been making sure to add all my meals to the Nutrisystem NuMi app ( I love the app) and have discovered extra features that can help me on my weight-loss journey…Did I mention that I love the app?
