August is Breastfeeding month and I wanted to talk about that amazing experience that is breastfeeding!
Ever since I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, I knew that if I was able that I would breastfeed. This is great because of the bond that it allows moms to create with their babies from day one, but it also has many health benefits for baby and the mom!
Breast feeding can be very painful….Talking from personal experience, but it is AMAZING and I loved being able to hold my baby girl so close to my heart, actually I loved it so much that I knew I was breastfeeding my baby boy as soon as I knew I was pregnant. I breastfed him for as long as I was able to and I can tell you that we both loved the mommy/ baby time whenever he fed.
There are numerous benefits that make breastfeeding a no brainer decision….Did you know that your breast milk adapts to meet your baby’s changing needs? How about the fact that the Colostrum (pre-milk), that comes in after you deliver and that allows you to feed your little one until your milk supply comes in, has antibodies to protect your newborn baby?

Parents can save an average $1,608 to $5,892 in one year, and there is nothing easier than breastfeeding a baby… The milk is ready at any time, at the right temperature and anywhere….
