Are you thinking about making some changes to your home this year? If so, you should focus on a redesign of the bedrooms. We’re talking about your bedroom and the bedrooms of your children. By redesigning the bedrooms, you can make sure that everyone in the family gets the full night of rest that they need for a productive morning and a great day. Every family has arguments, and you’ll probably find that a lot of these are caused by people feeling grumpy because they haven’t had enough sleep.

So, what stops you getting to sleep at night and what changes can you make to improve the situation?

Bed Biting Your Back?

If you wake up in the morning with severe pain in your neck, back or even your limbs, you might think that you have simply slept funny. But the real issue could be the bed itself. The mattress might be too hard, and if you take it off the bed, you might even find that some areas of the bed are broken. This is quite common after a few years of constant use. You should check your kid’s beds for the same issues and if they too are finding it difficult to get to sleep, consider upgrading all the beds in your home. There are plenty of mattresses and bed frames to choose from with a detailed review online of each for you to view. Once you have made this change in your bedroom,  you’ll probably find sleep comes to a lot easier. But, there could be other problems.

RAM affecting your REM?

You might find that while you do get to sleep at night, you don’t fall into a deep sleep and the slightest noise or movement wakes you up. This is particularly troublesome if you have a dog who is prone to jumping off the bed in the middle of the night. If you talk to your kids, you might find that they too are having trouble sleeping from 9 till 9. What’s going wrong?

The answer might be to do with the technology in your room. If you have a lot of tech in your bedroom, electromagnetic energy could impact your sleep patterns. It might even keep you up long into the early hours. That’s why you should purge your bedrooms of tech devices, and yes, that does include the modern smart TV that you might have close to your bed. Do the same with all the bedrooms in your home, and you might find that everyone in the family is getting a better night of sleep.

A Little Light For Everyone

Finally, a simple and small change that you can make to the bedrooms in your home would be adding Himalayan candles. One candle for each room should do the trick, and they can be lit a couple of hours before bedtime. The natural minerals and nutrients present in these candles are supposed to help calm the mind and the body leading to a better night of sleep. If you are wary about adding candles to a kids bedroom, you could also consider purchasing a lamp with an electric LED bulb instead.
