I have recently had the opportunity to try a new brand of sandals…Bokos. Bokos was created by two brothers from Minneapolis, Minnesota. After spending time overseas, they returned to the United States with sandals styled similarly to Bokos. The unique design and material made for a durable, easy to clean, and fun to wear sandal.
The founders began wearing these sandals everywhere. Around the campsite, after mountain biking, while hosting barbecues, and everything in between. Soon, friends and family (and often, strangers) started asking how they could get a pair – to wear to the beach, after a workout, or just to wear around the house.
The sandals are super lightweight and comfortable making them a really nice pair of sandals for everyday wear. The design is really simple with colors that are really eye-catching. I received the melon color which I must say is very unique and uncommon color fond. The sandal has an “X” design and features a non-porous rubber material and has the Bokos logo on it. The footbed has a stripes design that feels really neat with each step you take.
This is perfect for the pool and beach. The Bokos sandals, breathable and durable, fit on the wide side which in my opinion adds to the overall comfort of the Bokos’ sandals. The Bokos for women( and men) are available in 4 different colors ( I hope they add some new colors soon), and have a retail price of 16.00 which is a nice price point for these sandals, so I give a thumbs up to Bokos for the design and comfort!
