Sandgrens is certainly the typical clogs design I saw when I visited Holland a few years ago.  In fact they are a very stylish and fashion forward European style.  Sandgrens is a Swedish Clog company that centers on providing the stylish and fashionable traditional Swedish clogs so you get the essence of the clogs with twist.

They have different lines to cover all clog lovers needs and among those lines; you will find the boots collection that has different styles to cover all your fashion needs.  For this review I received the Chukka clog boots.

The Chukka clog boots are a great combination between a fun and stylish clog that offers a different take on fashion for this season. The Chukka are a short cut boot that can actually be worn pretty much all year around which is great for people like myself that live in a warmer climate.

With a medium-heel Swedish Alder wood base and luxurious Horween Nubuc leather, the Chukka clog boots are crafted with nail heads that add that special finishing touch to the complete look. On their website they have the boots with a light camel color lace, however the ones I received have black shoelaces.

The boots are available in different colors, but I fell in love with the deep red color that looks amazing with black. The great thing about the Chukka boots, is that they can be paired with many different clothing styles.  I especially like the look you get with leggings and shorts.

The boots are lighter weight than what I have expected from a pair of clogs which is always a nice surprise. The boots have a wide cut around the ankle which adds a casual touch and allows you to play around with the outfits you pair the boots with ( they will look amazing with dark denim skinny jeans).  Because of this cut, the boots might feel a little loose, almost as if they are coming off, but not actually.

Because of the material used on the boots, you are better off keeping them from getting wet. The boots are a bit stiff until you break them in. There is no lining in the inside of the boots, but you can easily add that yourself and add a comfortable element to your clogs.

I will also recommend that you take a good look at their size chart before you order. The Chukka clog boots have a retail price of $219.00. And they are available in four different colors.
