I was sent the Honeywell HY-108 fan. This Honeywell QuietSet Whole Room Tower (Black) features 5 levels of quiet control including “whisper” and “white noise”….I was interested in trying a fan because I wanted to have the fan running during the day and turn the AC temperature up as I believe this is a great way to save energy and money at the same time.
The fan is actually very quiet and not as distractive as other fans I have owned in the past. This is positively one of my very favorite features on this unit. The fan is taller (10.75 x 8.23 x 32.83 in) and is also nicer than what I had expected.
The tower style fan is thin enough to fit in pretty much any corner of your home creating a really nice air flow. You have the option to leave the fan fixed in one position or let it oscillate to cover a larger area. The fan looks nicer than what you can appreciate from the pictures in their website. Honeywell HY-108, Honeywell QuietSet Whole Room Tower has a modern look and the LED Electronic Controls give the fan a sophisticated look that makes it a really nice addition to many different décor styles.
The tower fan can be controlled by either the control panel on top of the fan or by a very convenient and compact remote control that come with the unit (the fan even has a small compartment on the back to store the remote when not in use).
The Easy-to-carry handle on top of the unit facilitates carrying the fan from one room to another. The retail price on the Honeywell HY-108, Honeywell QuietSet is 75.95 and it is on sale right now for 55.95 which is a great price for this unit.
