When I got married, we had our wedding list registry in two different stores. The way we chose the stores was basically by picking the two stores that had the most items that we wanted in our registry. There were a lot of other things that we (mainly me) wanted from other stores, but having many different registries from different stores was just too much work, so we decided to stick to one of the major retailers and another store that was a favorite also.
Now days things are way different and thanks to websites like MyRegistry.com, you do not need to pick and choose from only a couple stores. You can actually personalize your registry and make it so that you can choose different items from many different stores and basically create a universal registry and add all the items you want to this registry.
Signing up for MyRegistry.com is very easy and hassle free. You can sign up with your email, using your Facebook account or even your Google+ account!
Signing up is free and easy to do, no matter which of the formats you use to sign up. I decided to use my email account, so I just needed to answer a few questions and voila, my myregistry.com account was ready to use and I could start adding items to it right away.
They offer a few different registry options, including a baby registry which works great form me!
Right after choosing what type of registry you need, all you need to do is to add the MyRegistry.com tool bar and add it to your bookmark bar, then go to any store you want and start adding products to your registry.
The tool bar is very easy to use and I must add, it is a lot of fun adding items which by the way can be brand name stores, not just department stores, which is just awesome!
Once you have created your account, you can add items, send cards, announcements, your registry, have a guest book…the amount of options is amazing and the freedom to choose from any website makes this service just amazing!
I am really impressed based on how easy it is to use. It is great to be able to not just settle on a couple of stores, and instead I can choose exactly what I need from wherever I want, no matter if it is just one single item from one specific store.
I Love the MyRegistry.com concept, how easy it is to use, and the fact that it allows me to keep everything I want and need in one single spot and that I can organize and control my registry as I wish.
