In my opinion accessories are like the cherry on the ice cream…Accessories are the finishing touch to any outfit. I have a particular weakness for the baroni Designed jewelry pieces…. Sarah Baroni started her longtime love affair with jewelry at a very young age. Often called little gypsy girl, she would pile on adornments for any occasion-–dress up or play. She still loves to adorn and be adorned, and appreciates an art form that celebrates the beauty and individuality of each wearer and you can see this in her very unique designs.

I have a couple of her pieces and have been asked many times as to where I have gotten this distinctive jewelry… Just a couple of weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review another baroni Designs piece of jewelry as part of the Holiday Gift I was sent what has become my favorite Baroni item.

The baroni Designs Kalos Ring is a striking sterling silver ring that is hand-etched with 24K gold accents. The ring is made of a one single piece…The ring is an extra wide ban with an elaborate design. Both the size and the design are very attractive as the ring is bigger than what I usually wear but I wanted something bold and attractive at the same time and the Kalos ring is certainly that.

I also like the fact that since the ring utilizes silver and gold it is really easy to wear with pretty much any other jewelry no matter if it is silver, gold or both… I actually wear both at the same time and really like the affect.

The design resembles what you expect to see from Greek inspired jewelry and the combination of the polished… and non-shiny silver piece with the gold details looks simply amazing and certainly out of the ordinary. I have been looking for a big ring for my heart finger (index finger)…something pretty and elegant at the same time and that was also comfortable and this ring is all that and then some.

One thing you do need to keep in mind is that this ring as all wide band rings rends to run small so I would recommend going one or even two sizes bigger depending on the finger you want to wear it on. The Kalos ring has a retail price of $146.00.

baroni has managed to incorporate some really amazing collections that range from modern to contemporary in order to please all different tastes and their new additions are just to die for…I especially love the St. Elena, Calistoga collection and the Spring Mountain Necklace.
