This year I am including some fun toys and some learning games and toys in the list for Santa and along learning elements that is included in his list is the Light-Up Antique-Style Globe from HearthSong .

The globe is antique-looking with a wooden base and gold-finished metal meridian that has combined the antique looks with a very modern touch as the globe actually lights up!

The globe is really easy to assemble as all you need to do is screw the globe (screw is attached to the globe) to the wood base that comes with it and you are done. The light-up globe has an electric cord that features a dial type off and on switch and delivers a soft yellowish light that is not too strong, so it would actually make a nice night light for the kid’s room.

The globe is approx. 9-3/4″ diameter and lightweight so you don’t really have to worry about the kids getting seriously hurt if by some chance they drop it. The globe looks really nice lit up or not and it makes a really nice learning tool for kids and adults…it is very complete and features political boundaries!
