As you probably know, I am a Kolcraft mom which gives me the opportunity to try some really neat products from the brand…I have already tested a few of their products and more recently had the chance to try the Jeep Liberty Sport X .
The stroller is very easy to set up as there is very little to do to have the stroller ready to go…I would say it did not take me more than15 minutes from the moment I took the stroller out of the box till it was completely set up and ready to use.
The Jeep Liberty Sport X features an Easy swivel front wheel which you can lock whenever need ( a good option for uneven surfaces). I found that the stroller is easy to maneuver and turns pretty good even in tight spaces. The stroller has some really nice features that are meant to make stroller enjoyable for both parents and kids…Like the parent tray which includes two deep cup holders, removable child tray with two cup holders and a toy steering wheel for the little one’s enjoyment and entertainment!
In addition, the stroller has a nice size storage basket plus removable cargo bags to accommodate baby’s diaper bag or shopping bags when running errands around town.
As I mentioned before, the stroller is fairly easy to maneuver …It also features one-handed folding capability which makes life easier for whoever is taking the little one for a stroll. On top of the handle, you will find an orange slide button with a locked and an unlocked icon, simply move the button to the unlocked icon and press the oversized button at the bottom of the handle and the stroller pretty much folds itself, (keep in mind that the stroller seat has to be in the lay down position before you fold it).
The Multi-position reclining seat allows you to change the position in which your child is going to sit on the stroller so you can adjust it at your convenience. This is always handy when they fall asleep. Now, if I could change any features on this stroller, the way to adjust the seat would probably be the one I would change as it is adjusted by pulling a strap on the back of the stroller which can be a bit tricky to do if your child is already in the stroller asleep, especially if it is a big kid.
The Jeep Liberty Sport X has one lock for each of the back wheels, and I do not want fail to mention that these are rugged 12″ inflatable tires that grip all types of terrain proving a more pleasant ride.
One other thing I really like about this stroller is that in addition to the storage basket, it also has a removable cargo bag on each side of the stroller big enough to hold a couple of diapers (depending on size), and a medium wipe container, which comes in very handy. Both bags have Velcro closure to keep whatever you decide to keep in it secure and safe.
The handy Jeep Liberty Sport X can be used with over 15 different infant car seats so you can create your own travel system that will adapt as your child grows.
The stroller weighs about 30 pounds and has a child weight limit of 50 pounds. My daughter is 6 years old and not quite 50 pounds yet and she was dying to get in the stroller to help me test it. She fits in it with no issues and I was able to maneuver the stroller without any difficulties. The stroller folded is about 18.5 D x 25.25 W x 36 L. and has a retail price of 179.99.
