I found the Kicker store over a year ago while doing a search for headphones and was really interested in the KICKER products, so I contacted the company and they agreed to work with me on a review of a couple of their products and all off them exceeded my expectations…They offer amazing quality products that deliver powerful clear sound.

Kicker products are designed and manufactured by Stillwater Designs, headquartered in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The firm began in 1973 as a two-person operation, hand-building professional sound and musical instrument speaker systems for churches, auditoriums, and entertainers.

Building upon the success of the Original KICKER, the company concentrated on the mobile-audio market, applying the same successful research and design skills to the development of a complete line of high-performance components for car audio.

While Kicker products are more known among males, I was quickly very fond of the quality sound and amazing delivery I get from the Kicker products and for these holidays I bring you something that both male and females will love the same. I have tried and love a few different items from the KICKER catalog. As a matter of fact, it is the only device I have in my place to play and stream music. All I need to do is to plug in my iPod and get all my favorite songs delivered to me with impeccable sound quality…So I thought there was nothing KICKER could do to impress me even more…I stand corrected because this model (40iK5BT), does a few things that the previous model did not. The previous models would allow me to use the dock station with different iPhones or iPods. The Amphitheater is compatible with the iPod touch® (2nd-3rd-4th gen); iPod nano® (1st-2nd-3rd-4th-5th-6th gen); iPad; iPad 2; iPad (3rd gen); iPhone3G; iPhone3GS; iPhone 4; iPhone 4S. Yes you read correctly, iPads too!

To top all that, this is the first KICKER Bluetooth system that streams music from any Bluetooth-enabled device! So, even my husband’s Galaxy S4 can play music directly to it. The design is very sleek, modern and has a very sturdy construction which is what I have come to expect from any KICKER products.

The unit features a 6″ square reflex subwoofer that provides a dynamic bass response with the kind of power I’ve come to expect from KICKER. In addition, the 5″ woofers and 3/4″ tweeters will fill any room the KICKER Amphitheater Blue Tooth is located. Among the perks you get with this unit, you will find an ergonomic remote control that lets you easily control the system and completely navigate through your iPod’s menu. I’m a huge fan of Kicker, When I first bought my FJ it had a Bose surround system that I was not impressed with. I wanted this for camping on the beach during the weekends and wanted a better sound system. I went all out with Kicker bass, subs, eq, speakers and even a new fuse box, lol. Now that I was impressed with, lol – Love to have one of their home systems as well.

First of all, it’s so hard to find electronics made right here in America – that is what initially caught my attention in your review. I know a few guys that use their products in their cars, but I wasn’t aware that they made sound for the home. When I bought my vehicle a year and a half ago the young man I bought it from had just put in a new stereo, one with an iPod connection. I do not, however think the current amplifier is up to the task of righteously kickin’ out the jams.
The KX Amplifier may be just the device to help my audio system bring forth the fantastic velvety voice of Leonard Cohen, and the amazing guitar work of AC/DC’s Angus Young. These gentleman have talents worthy of my “turning it up,” and warrant the respect that the music comes through well.
