A few months ago I came across the Kingston Technology’s website and had the chance to try and now love a few of their products. So, of course I wanted to include them in my 2013 Born 2 Impress Products Must Have features as I am really happy with the products I have been able to try from Kingston Technology. Today I will bring you a neat selection of products for the delight of technology lovers everywhere!
The first item I want to talk to you about is the DataTraveler SE9, which is a stylish USB Flash drive with metal casing that features a large ring so it will attach easily to a key change and while the looks are a big plus on this USB Flash drive what makes this unit one of a kind, is its size.
The small form factor makes it a great accessory for notebooks like Intel’s new Ultrabook™ as well as tablets that offer USB ports….The truth is that you can’t really appreciate how very little it is until you see it in person. The flash drive is made of one single metal piece for durability. This flash drive is probably the favorite Kingston item in this household as we all give them different uses…My husband that works with computers all day and is constantly loading and downloading files uses his for this purpose and carries around a DataTraveler on his key chain for work related items…My father in law found a different use for the DataTraveler SE9 and carries his with medical files and keeps updating it with the information and treatments from his doctors and I also carry one on my key chain with photos, music and other miscellaneous information that might or might not be blog related.
As I said, this handy drive is a big favorite in my house hold for its convenient size and portability! The DataTraveler SE9 is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities! And in case you are wondering, these make an excellent stocking stuffer for technology lovers!
Another great product from Kingston is the MobileLite Wireless. This is a very handy and convenient reader and media streamer for SD card and USB devices with a really useful built-in mobile charger that is amazing when you are on the go.
The MobileLite wireless drive for smart phones and tablets is a great way to free the space on your phone or tablet…I do take tons of photos with my phone and this is simply a must have to make sure you do not run out of space on you smart phone. In addition you can share date with three different users simultaneously via WiFi. You can use your unit with your USB drive or SD cards to store photos, videos, music and even files.
The unit also works as a standard card reader and includes a micro SD card adapter! The MobileLite Wireless has a retail price of 73.00 (you can use SHOPPIMA code for a juicy discount on most items in their site).
I also had the chance to try their SDHC/SDXC Card – Class 10 UHS-I Elite… I am more and more into taking videos and photos…I am even thinking about taking photography classes, so I am paying more attention to the type of SD cards I use in my camera…Why? Because I realized that they do make a difference when it comes to taking hi-res photos and video.
The SDHC/SDXC Card – Class 10 UHS-I Elite has some really nice integrated features like an amazing performance that allows users to shoot fast-action photos and HD video with higher sustained write speeds to ensure HD video integrity. This translates to better and higher quality images and videos.
The SDHC/SDXC Card – Class 10 UHS-I Elite has provided me with great results when taking action shots at my daughter’s soccer games and I have noticed a big difference on the speed that I can shoot the camera and I must add I really like it!
The SDHC/SDXC Card – Class 10 UHS-I Elite is compatible — with SDHC and SDXC host devices; SDXC cards are not compatible with SDHC-enabled devices/reader …One other thing that makes these cards a great addition to your photography equipment, is the fact that it is versatile as it has a class 10 performance when used in a non-UHS-I capable device!
The cards are available in 8, 16, 32, and 64GB with price starting at 15.00 ( Remember you can use the discount code I mentioned before to get a nice discount!
