A couple of years ago I was introduced to the You’ve been Sentenced game…. And I gave it to DH as part of his Christmas present that year. I figured that if mister picky liked the game then we had a winner.
We took the game over to grammy’s house and set up a table to start playing…There were 4 players at the table (I was just watching), the players were ages 20- 44, ( the game is for kids 8 and up….They were all over that age), all of them very smart and board game lovers.
So the You’ve been Scented Game had a really tough judging crew…..The game started and no longer than a minute or two after they were playing and the laughs started.
All players agreed that the game is just awesome, and even though there were a few other games to play with, they played three rounds of the You’ve been Sentenced in a row…So yes, I’d say we have a winner and liked the game so much, that I actually got a set for my neighbors last year.
I was very excited to learn that You’ve been Sentenced has a new game, the You’ve been Sentenced! Country Music Edition!
The new edition of the game is meant for 8 and up, 30-40 min to play, 3-10 players, with extensive rule variations that are available on the You’ve Been Sentenced website.
The game is similar to the original but with a country music twist as the game features your favorite country music artists, song titles, lyrics, and words… Players simply deal a hand of 10 cards and start to build a sentence….And that is exactly when the magic begins as it is impossible to know what sentences the players are going to come up with!
The game has 540 cards with over 2,500 words so you have endless possible sentences so the game is never boring and has unlimited re-play value.
