If you have been following this blog you know I am a huge shoes aficionado and I get very excited each time I find a new shoe brand for any family member and I am really happy to introduce you to Tsukihoshi! Tsukihoshi is one of Japan’s oldest and most esteemed footwear companies.
Combining modern and innovative design with centuries-old Japanese craftsmanship and artistry, the company makes wonderful shoes for babies, toddlers and youth. Their shoes are multifunctional and made specifically for the younger members of the family.
The Tsukihoshi shoes are designed to help promote the healthy development and growth of a child’s foot. Tsukihoshi shoes can be found at Nordstrom stores and higher-end independent children’s shoe retailers across the United States.
I was given the opportunity to try one of the many different Tsukihoshi designs, the GLITZ. The Glitz is available in two different color combinations and I was sent the fuchsia/mint combination that I must add looks great.
The super lightweight and flexible shoes feature a Velcro closure which is perfect for little ones that have not quite mastered the art of tying their shoe laces. The shoes also feature antibacterial insole….the cup-Insole coated with Green-Tea Polyphenol deodorizes the smell in shoes….LOVE this feature!
The shoes are one of my daughter’s very favorite pair of shoes and another great thing that make these shoes a must have, is the fact that they are actually machine washable!
The shoes are super comfortable, very cute and promotes a healthy foot development, so I can say that the Tsukihoshi covers all my points when it comes to shoes for my little lady. The GLITZ has a retail price of 57.95 and it is available in sizes that should accommodate most children from 2-8 years of age.
