How do you snack? I usually carry energy bars in my bag for that time when I need a little snack and want to stay in control of my diet. They are easy to carry, do not need to be refrigerated, take no space, and more importantly they are yummy (well that is if you get the correct ones) …I have tried many different brands and not all of them have been keepers. I have just a few that I consider my on the go snacks and among them is Balance Bar.
Balance bar offers a wide variety of flavors to cover all bases including some treats for chocolate lovers, the Balance bar Chocolate Craze and the Double Chocolate Brownie that have 14 G of protein, 23 vitamins and minerals, low Glycemic, and provides you with an excellent source of Antioxidants like vitamins A, C and E!
Both bars have either low cholesterol or are completely free of it. You can look at the table of contents for more info on the nutritional facts, but I have found that these two energy bars work really good for me. They are a great pick up snack for the middle of the day and are a great way to control my sweets craving. I consider them a must have if I am running around town and want to stay away from “temptation” food!

I would like to try the lemon meringue crunch balance bar. It looks so light and cool. I try to have a small piece of whatever is tempting me so much. A small piece or a bite or two is better than the whole thing if you are watching your health or weight.
I would love to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Balance Bar. Sounds absolutely delicious. I try to control my cravings by drinking more water. Although, if I have a strong craving; I will indulge myself so I don’t go ‘off the deep end’ later!
The yogurt honey peanut looks delish. I usually do just this, have a chocolate food bar snack of some sort. Or I will just indulge with a small portion, lol.
I would love the dark chocolate peanut bars. I have a very hard time controlling my cravings for sweets, especially chocolate! One of the ways I control this is to not have anything in the house to tempt me, so I will then eat some popcorn or drink a can of tomato juice.
I would like to try the chocolate peanut butter and the dark chocolate coconut, they both sound really good. I have a hard time controlling cravings, sometimes I will chew some sugar free gum to try and take my mind off of what I’m craving.
I would like to try the S’mores Balance Bar. I tend to have trouble controlling my cravings and will find a small snack. I like to keep fruit around for that or granola bars.
All the flavors look good, but I would go for the cookie dough first. For me, I control cravings by drinking a glass of water and waiting 15 minutes to see if I’m still hungry. I would say half the time it goes away.
I would like to try the Dark Chocolate Coconut Balance Bar®
Lemon Meringue Crunch sounds like summertime in a bar! Since I avoid all caffeine later in the day, chocolate is not something I can enjoy as a snack in the afternoon. Lemon sounds refreshing. I nibble on flax seeds during the day. They control my appetite surprisingly well, and help with my cholesterol.
I have never had them but they look so good. I know they are a great source of energy. I would love to try the Almond Brownie Balance Bar.
I want to try you lemon meringue crunch. That sounds like a cool treat on a warm summer day to keep my energy going! Thanks!
I would love to try the chocolate raspberry flavor also! I’ve been on a nutrition plan for about a month, and there are a couple ways controlling my cravings works. One is to track every bite and sip on one of the free online sites, so you can see how each food and drink really adds up, and two is to schedule meals and snacks the best you can. If you know you are eating in 30 mins or an hour it’s much easier to not reach for that “quick bite”!
I usually don’t care for the taste of health bars. I am always trying new ones to see if I like them. I think that I might like the taste of the Caramel Nut Blast Balance Bar® or the Yogurt Honey bars.
I can’t control my cravings that is why I need these lol But I do love the peanut butter ones the best!
Hello! The Peanut Butter flavor sounds delicious! I don’t control cravings very well. I’ll eat crackers or chips with salsa. These would be a much wiser decision. I like that they have protein too! Thanks!!
I’d like to try the Lemon Meringue Crunch bar. I control my cravings with greek yogurt. Other times if I’m really craving a snack, I’ll make air popped popcorn. You can eat a decent amount of it without killing your diet/eating plans.
I’d like to try the Lemon Meringue.
I try to control cravings by eating small healthy snacks throughout the day and drinking plenty of water. I’d like to try the Double Chocolate Brownie flavor.
I control my cravings by eating regular meals. If I get hungry between meals, I snack on fruits, nuts or vegetables
I control cravings by drinking cold water. I also stretch in the mornings which helps me get my brain working, and I try to go on small walks even if it’s just around the house when I am feeling snacky to give my bring time to decide if I am thirsty, board, or really hunry. I would also like to try the Vanilla Yogurt Peanut butter flavor bars.
I would love to try the dark chocolate coconut bars. That’s a great flavor combination. When I get hungry I eat microwave popcorn. Sometimes I will try to chew gum as well.
I’d love to try the Dark Chocolate Coconut bar. I try to just have a taste of whatever I’m craving instead of overdoing it. Sometimes I think I’m hungry and I’m just thirsty and a glass of water does the trick.
I would like cookie dough. It would help with my sweet tooth. Hopefully it will also fill me up so I eat less at meals
I control my cravings by not allowing too much time to pass before each snack or meal. I eat small meals often and never really feel hungry. This helps me stick to my current plan. I would like to try the Dark Chocolate Coconut bars simply because what could be better than a Mounds with protein of course :p
