I received a Cooper Kit for this review. I was not financially compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.
My daughter has always loved doing little projects and activities with daddy. They would go to the park, swim or shop for little treasures all by themselves. Now that we have the baby, those little projects are even more important as we do not want her to feel like the baby is getting all the attention in the family!
Cooper and Kid gets is a great option for parents of kids ages 5 through 9 that are looking for a different project or activity to do with their kids! The Cooper Kit is meant to strengthen the bond between dad and kids and I must say the whole concept is really neat.
So what is the Cooper Kit?
It is an award-winning quarterly subscription package. The box is filled with projects built around a theme that, both dads and kids will enjoy.
The box we received for this review was labeled as the Wilderness Walkabout and includes an activity guide with lots of different fun things to do.
The Walkabout box activity guide will guide you through how to survive and explore in the wilderness…We have recently started doing Geo Caching, so this is right up my daughter and husband’s ally.
Actually, the kit and the activities are a lot of fun and the instructions are made with a hint of humor so both father and children can enjoy learning and following the tips on the guide which are provided by Bulk, a bigfoot looking fella that is happy to lend a hand and teach you a thing or two on how to survive and enjoy the wilderness.
Inside the box you will of course find the activity guide, a bandana which is actually Bulk’s cheat sheet, a MRE (Ready to eat meal like they have in the military),paracord bracelet and fire starter kit, Curious George goes camping book, a bag of spool buddy bag for a fun project, a straw, silver paper and a Green Science Clean Water Science kit that allows you to conduct water purification experiments.
The kit is unlike any kid’s activity set I have seen before as it combines the fun element with learning and engages both dad and kid in the whole process.
I love the concept, and the product and I think this is a great bonding experience between dad and kids. This is a well thought out product with a lot to offer for a fun time between the father and kids…I love the fact that the activities are gender neutral, so my daughter can have a blast with daddy and learn a thing or two in the process.
You can subscribe two ways:
Quarterly which is a recurring subscription where you get a Cooper Kit every three months billed quarterly or yearly in which you get billed once a year for a discount on the price.
