While I have thin straight hair, my daughter has thicker hair with big curls. Also, due to the fact that she loves getting her hair wet and has a campaign against brushing her hair and ponytails … it makes taking care of her hair a huge challenge and for that reason, I am always looking for products that can help me control her “crazy hair”.
Most recently I was given the opportunity to try two products from Bioken. The first product was the Bioken Enfanti Curly Shampoo – This sulfate, paraben and DEA free cleanser is gentle, color-safe and a moisture balancing formula that is working wonders on my little girl’s hair.
The rich formula provides curl-enhancing properties to create body and bounce in your hair…. The lightweight formula goes a long ways and you only need a small amount of the product. This unique blend is infused with Aloe Vera and Calendula to offer intense hydration and helps to eliminate frizz while increasing elasticity which is great in my daughter’s case because she gets her hair wet pretty much on a daily basis which obviously does not help to maintain the shine and health of her hair specially because when she gets it wet…. She usually does not wash it.
Thankfully, the Shea butter works as a moisture-building conditioning agent while Panthenol or Pro-vitamin B-5 deeply moisturizes and heals the ladybug’s hair. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein nourishes and smoothes her hair leaving it manageable, well-defined, with frizz-free curls. The 8 oz size retail -$16.00 (USD).
The formula is lightly scented with a really nice fragrance that leaves her hair smelling clean and fresh. To team up and enhance the results obtained from the shampoo Bioken offers you the Bioken Enfanti Conditioner – Fortified with a full supplement of vitamins and herbal extracts to fortify hair and scalp, this lightweight conditioner immediately detangles, restores and smooths hair while providing thermal and UV protection ( great for people like us living in Florida, especially my little one that plays soccer and spends time outdoors often).
The conditioner also has a true color retention for people that dye their hair. The conditioner features a low pH (2.8-3) that closes the cuticle layer and seals in shine. The 8 oz size sells for $13 (USD).
One thing I love about this duo, is not the fact that her hair looks great right after I use the products on it, but the fact that that the looks last the next few days after using the products! Oh, and I must say … her curls look amazing!
