I received a ReliefBand in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Are you planning a Spring Break vacation somewhere? We have decided to take the kids to the Dominican Republic and are very excited about the trip. The one thing I am not really excited about is the plane ride and even the ride to the airport as I have been suffering from vertigo and anything can basically give me motion sickness and if you ever had that, then you know it is not fun at all!
I was looking for possible solutions for my problem when I found the ReliefBands.
ReliefBands
The Relief bands utilizes neuromodulation, technology which basically uses the body’s natural neural pathways to regulate the various stimulus mechanisms causing motion sickness through small electric shockwaves that the ReliefBand delivers when you need it.
How does it work?
The ReliefBand is design to easily and efficiently deliver those electric waves I mentioned before.
To use the ReliefBand, all you need to do is apply a small amount of the clear, odorless gel that is included with the band right between the tendons on your wrist, ( this will help with the delivery of the electric waves via the median nerve).
After you have put on the band and adjusted it to a comfortable setting, then just press the power button on the middle of device. There are 5 settings that you can increase by pressing on the power button until you find a level that is comfortable for you.
The levels are marked 1-5 with one being the lower setting…The small shockwave might take you by surprise at first, but remember; you can increase or lower its strength as you wish.
I am comfortable with the 3-4 setting. One thing I would like to add, is that if you are doing things with that hand, the wave might feel stronger when you make certain movements and again, it takes a bit to get used to that.
The band is very comfortable and lightweight. The straps are made of nylon which is great for people like myself with sensitive skin. On the back of the unit, you will find two metal plates that are responsible for delivering the waves. These however, can cause an allergic reaction for people with certain metal allergies, for which the brand recommends to switch arms every 2-3 hours. If you are thinking, that is too much of a hassle, then you have probably haven’t had a bad case of morning/ motion sickness where you’d be willing to do anything to get it to stop.
You might not know this if you are new to the blog, but I suffered from Hyperemesis with both of my pregnancies, which is morning sickness to its maximum and it kept me in bed for about 7-8 months…So when I say I am prone to motion sickness, I really mean that. So switching arms and a little tingling sensation is something that I would had been happy to endure if it gave me any relief.
As for now, I have been using the band for a few days and it does help with my vertigo which I really appreciate!
The ReliefBand have a retail price of $94.99 and will be coming with me on my upcoming trip.

I am always getting motion sick. I would love to win this. Hope it would help.
where is the entry form?
well, I noticed it works for car sickness. I bet my Dad wishes these were around when I was a kid, lol. It works for VR Gaming, too. I’ve never tried Virtual Reality but I have heard that it can make people dizzy. I’ve had bouts of vertigo, too, so I would definitely give this a try.
i learned it was fda cleared. I would love to try this, I do get motion sickness and have vertigo.
I learned it is FDA cleared! I suffer from migraines and motion sickness. Therefore, this would be awesome for me.
I learned that Reliefband works within minutes, without the side effects or drug interactions of medications. I would love to give this to my nephew who gets car sick. He is going to go on vacation soon and is dreading the car ride there.
I was surprised this could be used to prevent nausea when using virtual reality. I’ve never tried VR but I never knew that was an issue. I would love to win this in preparation for an upcoming road trip my daughter will taking, and her motion sickness is worse when she has to ride in the backseat of a car, which unfortunately will be where she told me she’ll have to sit.
totally motion sickness from MS
I think this is pretty cool, it uses pulses to activate the nerve to the nausea control center of the brain. I get motion sickness if I am in the back seat of the car. I fly a lot and I often get vertigo while flying if I do not have a window to reset my horizon. I could definitely benefit from one of these.
I learned it also works for morning sickness. This would be great for my husband, I often travel alone because his motion sickness is so bad. Thanks for the chance.
I learned that Reliefband® is clinically proven and FDA Cleared. I have never tried VR gaming and now know that people get dizzy and sick from it. Apparently this band will fix that. How cool!
I get motion sickness very frequently! It’s always worse when I am in the back of a car or bus, but if it’s more than twenty minutes, I get ready to become sick! It has really stopped me from doing things in my life, like going on felid trips with my children’s school, since I know I will just be sick the whole time! I learned & love that it is clinically proven and FDA Cleared! This means that it has been through testing and has worked! I will try anything at this point!
I get motion sickness even from playing vr game. I learned it does help with vr gaming along with amusment park rides, airplanes, boats etc.
I do suffer from motion when in a bus that has a lot of curves and mountainous. I also suffer when in a boat on the ocean. I learned that the relief band is good for both of these and would be great.
I only suffer from motion sickness if I’m on a boat or a ferry and I’m in a small room – then things start closing in on me.
This would be interesting to try.
I learned many cool facts but I what I found interesting is that while it’s still on your wrist, turn the Reliefband off every now & than to determine if you still have nausea and vomiting symptoms. If you still have symptoms, then turn it back on immediately.
I learned that it helps with motion sickness including in VR. That is really cool. Sometimes I feel like I suffer from motion sickness.
My husband suffers greatly and this would solve many problems for him. It would allow him to become more involved in life in general.
wow

I learned that Reliefband delivers gentle pulses to the median nerve at the P6 pressure point located on the underside of the wrist. I do suffer from Motion Sickness and it is just the worst! Even if I want to just play video games with my kids, I get it.

I suffer from motion sickness.I would love to try this band. Iv’e heard so many great things about this band.
I am interested in this . I use the oil behind ear for motion sickness, but If their is a virtual way to stop motion sickness. I am in.
I like the fact that it is allergy free
I like the different settings it has. We cruise several times a year so this would be great to bring along in case someone in our party didn’t feel good from the seas.
i do not suffer from motion sickness, but my husband and kid do. i like that this device is clinically proven and fda cleared. those aspects make me feel more reassured about using new technology.
I don’t suffer from motion sickness but my husband does. I learned that it will allow him to enjoy VR. he has always wanted to try it.
I like that it is fast and effective drug free relief. Once, I took motion sickness drug and it made me drowsy. I prefer the drug free type. ReliefBand is the product I have been looking for.
I don’t suffer from Vertigo. I don’t suffer from motion sickness. I learned that Reliefband® is clinically proven, FDA Cleared wearable technology for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, morning sickness and VR Gaming. I would like this for my husband.
I learned that it is supposed to trick motion sickness. My daughter suffers from this. Even sitting in the back seat of a car makes her sick. I sometimes get vertigo when I am hiking at high elevations.
I learned that it has been clinically proven and is recommended by doctors. I suffer from Vertigo.
Reliefband® is clinically proven. Yes, I suffer from motion sickness. I hate taking pills to counter motion sickness as they make me feel weird. This product looks great!
This sounds So awesome
I learned that Reliefband uses a technology called Neuromodulation to treat morning sickness. I like that it was developed for use in hospitals. I especially like that it uses your body’s own natural system to stop the nausea. I have suffered from Vertigo all my life and it can be so debilitating.
I learned that “the Reliefband delivers gentle pulses to the median nerve at the P6 presure point located on the underside of the wrist” Yes, I suffer from motion sickness, especially when I am on the plane or boat!
