You might say that I am a bit obsessed with night time comfort and maybe I am, but I know for a fact what an incredible difference a good night sleep can make. I try to have the best setup possible to ensure I get what I need when it comes to rest and recharging.

Why is it so important?

Sleep plays a crucial role in good health and getting enough quality sleep will protect your physical health, your mental health, and of course your quality of life.

While you sleep, your body is working to maintain your physical health and brain functions and the way you feel when you are awake is directly related to how well you rested the night before.pillow, pillows, bed time

You can see sleep deficiency’s negative effects immediately or over time and an ongoing sleep deficiency can impact the way you think, react, your mood, the way you learn and process things. It can even affect the way you interact with other people and your environment.

The night ritual

To have that good night sleep you need, try to unwind before you go to bed and avoid any work-related activities before bedtime…Yes, stay away from work emails or any other things that can keep your mind wandering during the night.

relaxation

A nice and warm bath can help you relax and disconnect from the day’s events and adding light scented salts like lavender can make a huge difference.

Avoid outside noises and light that can keep you awake or can wake you up in the middle of the night. A white noise machine can help you conceal noises from the outside world.

Make sure the room is set to a nice temperature, not too cold, not too hot, temperature changes are one of the most common reasons people wake up in the middle of the night.

Try to sleep the recommended 8 hours or as close as possible. You give your smartphone a chance to recharge do the same for your body!

The right bedroom accessories

The same way as other elements, the accessories you chose for your bedroom can be key to your good night’s sleep.

Look for a mattress that is good for you as everyone’s preference in mattresses is different, so take the time to research and, if possible, try different mattresses. You should visit a showroom for one of the main retailers.

One piece that is equally important and often overlooked, is the pillow, and believe when the right pillow can be key to a full night rest.

There are a few different facts to take into consideration when shopping for pillows and allergies is certainly a big one.

Down pillow?

They are fluffy and comfortable, but need to be constantly fluffed and tend to lose their shape throughout the night and can be a big problem for allergy sufferers. While a shredded foam pillow can solve these issues, they are too heavy for some users. Everybody has very unique needs and preferences and pillows tend to be made following certain standards that might not work for everybody.

The right pillow at the right price

Could a customized pillow be the solution? The word customized is usually attached to a big price tag, that not everyone can afford.

The Snuggle-Pedic bamboo combination shredded style memory foam pillow with a kool-flow micro-vented cover is lightweight, and extremely soft and fluffy. It is without a doubt the most comfortable pillow I have tried, so far, but the real big seller for me, along with all the above features, is that the Snuggle-Pedic pillows can be customized.

If after you received your pillow, you find that some extra foam would have worked better for you, they will send you extra stuffing for your pillow at no extra cost…That is just the cherry on top on an already amazing product.

You can customize, exchange, and even return your pillow within 90 days at no extra cost.

The Snuggle-Pedic pillow features a trademark Kool-Flow Micro-Vented bamboo cover which in combination with their interlocking foam pieces delivers a breathable, pillow that helps you to stay cool throughout the night.

The price tag?

These pillows are available in all sizes, the most expensive is the King size pillow at $197.00. That might sound like a lot, but if you take into consideration that these pillows have a 20-year warranty, that is $9.85 per year.

I understand that not everyone can take almost $200.00 out of their budget for pillows, but here is some good news – these pillows are on sale and the most you will pay for one (king size ) is $69.99 which would be $3.50 per year…Not too shabby!
