If you have been following my blog, then you know I have been struggling with my weight for years.
It all started with my first pregnancy and my hyperemesis which kept me bedridden and medicated for 90 % of my pregnancy and contributed to me going from 110 pounds to 165. It literally took years for me to get rid of the extra weight but I finally did it…I got pregnant with my son and had hyperemesis again.
hyperemesis gravidarum
Many pregnant women have morning sickness, no surprise there, what I did not know going into my first pregnancy, I was one the less than 3% of pregnant women to get hyperemesis gravidarum.
A simple way to describe it is a very severe case of morning sickness and about as much fun as it sounds.
There is no cure or way to prevent it and while it usually strikes between the 4th and 6th weeks, mine started sooner.
When you have hyperemesis, you vomit a lot and by a lot I mean I could not keep anything down. I was one of the severe cases and was vomiting constantly.
To prevent dehydration and keep the babies healthy, I had home health care and was hooked up to an IV and pump and with my son, I even had to have a pic line.
Doctors don’t know what causes hyperemesis, but they believe it’s related to a rise in hormone levels…Yep, lots of fun! Since I could barely move, I had no exercise during my pregnancy plus I had all kinds of vitamins and medications through my IV and pump.
Needless to say, I gained a few pounds and at my whooping 5’1’’ any weight looks like a lot, but to be fair, I did gain over 50 pounds, so you can imagine.
The second time around I was determined not to wait to try to get the weight off and have been yoyoing with my weight for the last couple of years.
I had liposuction which was not my brightest idea and still had to lose weight!
At that moment, my weight hit 144.4 while my ideal weight is around 115 pounds, due to my height.
One thing I was clear about was the reasons I wanted to lose weight
I wanted to do it for me, to improve my self-esteem, to be healthier for my kids, and for a healthier me.

I learned it’s compatible with most fitness apps like google fit and apple health. I’m forever trying to lose weight. At this point I just want to have more energy and feel better.
I am looking to loose those early menopause pounds that all of a sudden showed up. I have to get my vascular health way up as 2 years ago I had a popliteal aneyrsm and a bipass after having 2 bipasses when I was 30 so it is very important for me to get in gear and move it. I have no choice to because I have to be here for my daughter.
I like that it monitors fluids in my bloodstream, I often suffer with dehydration. I try working out each week and this would help me.
I learned that it works with a lot of different health apps. I also learned it analyzes sleep activity. My goal is to be more active and start exercising more!
I truly love all the apps I can use. I am trying to lose the last 20. I have lost 60 so far. Thank you for the chance!! Have a happy Thanksgiving!!
I would love it for my wife! It looks to be really helpful to help with weight loss! She has been trying to loose about 20 pounds!
I’ve really slacking off on my exercise. Between work and school and the kids schedules, i’ve been running crazy. I definitely don’t drink enough water and get migraines quite a bit due to this and my low blood sugars. This would definitely keep me on track.
I learned that it works with other health apps. My goal is to exercise daily and walking every day.
I like that it works with other apps. I’m trying to get in shape for a tennis tournament coming up. I need/want to lose a total of 30 lbs. This could really help me.
I love that it works with other health apps. That’s a very important feature for me. I am trying to lose weight and get more active.
My favorite thing about this is that it can count your calories. I hate writing that down. I am trying to lose weight and get back on my feet after a serious illness. I literally spent two months in bed, no movement. I had to learn to walk again.
I am older and found my body ha changed significantly. Lets put it this way, you can end up totally shaped different, My biggest motivaion is o feel better not so sluggish and weak. I want to be able o keep doing things I used to . I like that this monitors fluids, I know I likely do not hydrate enough and this would be a reminder.
The best thing I learned about this is that it monitors your sleep! I have SO much trouble sleeping, for a variety of emotional and physical problems. Just can’t seem to get the rest I need, and I can tell how that really messes with me, in so many ways. And oh, yeah, I AM looking to lose weight, I’m asahmed to say how much I weigh now. Right now, I’ve really slacked off on my diet and exercise… 🙁 . But my current goals & motivations right now are just really starting to take better care of myself.
Wow! I love that this monitors hydration levels. I struggle with staying hydrated throughout the day. I also like that it monitors stress levels–also so important. I’d love to win this.
The link to the site isnt working right now for me but I could use this as im on a weight loss diet right now. I like that is measures your hydration and also your sleep. It tells you how much sleep you need.
I like that it works well with different health apps. yes, I would love to lose some weight. I don’t follow a specific fitness plan but i make sure that I get in approx. 90 minutes of exercise atleast 4 days a week.

I am always looking for something to help control my weight. It makes me feel better to go to the gym. My husband goes, so I go. I have a gym buddy.
I love how it keeps track of water intake for you. I am diabetic with numerous health issues & need help whe4n I can get it.
Some observations 1.I do not think it is possible to like a google post using your share button, but I was able to post it for an entry. 2.Networked Blogs was discontinued a year ago.
A first..page won’t open..over and over error message was redirected to many times? Odd!
For me..need to get with it.
Moved and have not found a doctor. I know I have a few health concerns because I was borderline on some things a couple years ago.
Weight is not an issue,
I learned it tracks digested calories and they have 22 patents. My goal is to be more in touch with my health and see the results of things I do or eat. As I get older I realize my body responds differently and doing the same things don’t have the same results…i.e. eating as I always have, now I gain weight from it.
I would really like one of these. I am looking to lose weight through exercise and healthy eating. Good luck to everyone!
I like that it works with other apps. Will help that I am getting in shape.
i learned it has an Emotions and Stress level monitor. i am trying to lose weight and i am excited this will count caloric intake!

I learned that this band will notify you when to drink. I would like to lose 20 pounds, so it is good that the band tracks calorie intake too. It has a lot of functions!
No, I am not looking to lose any weight, if I did I’d float away. Lol a lot of people actually comment on my being to thin. It’s mean of them but whatevs, I do like the idea of being more healthy though.
I am SO interested in the body hydration monitor. I am chronically dehydrated, and it leads to kidney stones. If I could have a device that tells me when I’m having problems, that would be fantatstic.
I’m chronically dehydrated, which leads to kidney stones. I’m really interested in the hydration monitor on the device. I’d love to know when I’m putting my body in danger.c
I learned that it somehow can sense levels of stress. I am a physician, so I am never drinking enough water and my diet definitely needs a major adjustment. I am starting to do better, but my goal is to lose 50 pounds this year.
I think it’s amazing that it can help me monitor body fluids (water)! That is something that I struggle with, so knowing when I need to rehydrate would be helpful and it would help me avoid headaches and other symptoms of dehydration. I would always be happy to lose some weight, but I don’t follow a particular diet to achieve that. I do eat pretty healthful foods, though, mostly plant-based.
I learned they stand behind their product by offering a 30 money back guarantee. I want to lose weight and just live a healthier lifestyle in 2019. I need to lose weight because I don’t want to become diabetic my sugars were elevated at my last appointment.
I learned that it monitors your hydration. I am a long distance backpacker and my goal in 2019 is to train enough to do the HAM (Hike Across Maryland) in one day. This hike is 42 miles.
I learned that this could help with my diabetes by:
When you eat, your body is converting food into glucose.
2 Insulin triggers your cells to absorb glucose and release water.
3 The GoBe2 measures these changes by sending high and low-frequency signals through your tissue to determine the fluid volume of your cells.
Thanks and God bless!
