This giveaway is a partnership with Nakturnal, with a prize of a gift certificate
When I became a mom with my first baby ( a girl), I knew I was going to breast feed and offer her the best choice there was for her. 8 years later to the day, I had my little boy and I knew I was also going to breast feed and do so for as long as I could which I did until he was 11 months old and had to stop because I had to go on antibiotics…Sigh!
There are so many positives for both the baby and mother and breastfeeding is simply the best way to go. Unfortunately not every mother has the option to breastfeed their baby, in which case they can resort to a variety of baby formulas that offer the second best option to maternal milk.
That was not my case, but I was forced to stop breast feeding at a point, so I wanted to make sure my little guy had the best toddler formula to substitute the breast milk and while he had a couple of days, before adapting to the new milk, he did very good on it.
What do you need to know to make sure you are getting the best option for your baby boy?
There are several things that you should take into consideration when adding a new formula to your baby’s diet and your pediatrician is always the best person to direct you in the right direction…If your baby has the tendency to get colic (both my kids did), then there are some formulas that can be better for your little one.
Do some research, the good thing (and the bad thing), is that now days, there is a world of information thanks to the internet, but try not to get overwhelmed with all the options. Your baby’s doctor should be able to guide you in the right direction.
One thing I found useful was making most of my baby purchases from the same store. They ship directly to your home, and you do not need to worry about jumping from one store to another to find all your baby’s needs.
Some of these stores like diapers.com sells literally anything you need for your baby and you can buy everything from food, to diapers and clothing. They usually have discount codes ( discounts are a good thing to have, especially on diapers and formula). Speaking of discounts, how would you like a $50.00 gift certificate to their website?

Actually, I’m the cousin. My cousin is about to have her very first baby (a girl.) She has been trying to stock up on diapers, etc., at good prices (using coupons & searching out bargains.) I know this would be a great baby shower gift for her!
My grandson is still in diapers, but he is off the formula. Hopefully, he will be ready for potty training this summer. He is going to be 3 in the fall, so he about the right age.
Yes, our grandchild wears diapers. She also has supplemental formula. She is just 3 months old so she does not eat any solids yet. Mealtime with baby is always an adventure, especially when they rub cereal or vegetable puree in their hair!
I don’t have any kids in diapers currently, or on formula. I know how expensive diapers can be though. I hope to share this with a friend who is expecting.
I don’t, but I have a friend who has 2 kids in diapers and one on formula.
Yes- I do have a baby who is in diapers. We go through so so many everyday. It’s cute when kids try a new food and either love it or hate it. They have such funny facial expressions.

My son will be having his first child in June. So, soon enough we’ll have our first little one in our family for the first time in years. So, we’ll be going through both diapers and wipes for quite awhile 🙂
My daughter is 7 months old. She is on formula. I stopped exclusively breastfeeding around month 2. And we are also using disposable diapers. She is just starting to eat solids and mum mums. We are not on diapers or formula yet! That will all be changing when she makes her appearance in the near future! Diapers.com is great! They seem to have everything you could need.
Our baby isn’t on formula, but she is in diapers. We use a mix of disposable and cloth diapers to optimize savings and convenience. At this point, our biggest meal time excitement is that she recently learned to hold a small bottle with just a little milk on her own. It makes feeding so much easier and she’s completely adorable when she does it!
Yes, I do have an infant…. still in diapers & formula. This giveaway would be great!
Oh I have 3 grandchildren one was just born and just found out my son and his wife are going to have a baby. How exciting and she due on my husband birthday. So between our daughter and her husband and our son and hs wife we sure could use any help we could get! Thanks for a chance
I’m a great Aunt to 3 new bundles of joy…I don’t know if my meal time stories is fun but it sure is different …37 yrs ago I had 6 weeks preemie twin girls (expecting one big boy) who then spent 3 weeks in NICU where they got the nickname ‘pokey twins’…..they were feeding them with test tubes, made into baby bottles, every 3 hours , which took them forever to drink.
I don’t have a baby yet, but hope to someday. Lots of decisions to be made then. I could definitely use the gift card to prep a cloth diaper stash.
My son is no longer on formula, or in diapers. My cousin recently had a baby, and I would love to help her out by getting her some supplies or gear. Diapers.com makes it so easy for new moms to get what they need from the comfort of home!

My granddaughter turned 2 in January. She is still in diapers, but has been introduced to the potty. I’m hoping for a quick learn, but one never knows. Regarding meal times, can’t think of a specific funny story. However, any mess she does make while eating, the cleaner…our dog Radar…is always to the rescue.

Trying to get the 2 year old into potty training but she has absolutely no interest right now. I don’t want to force it too much and set her back. So the diapers continue, lol.
