I received a set of Marbotic Smart Letters in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
Marbotic is a French innovative start-up launched in 2012. With a team of technology lovers and education experts, the brand has created the ultimate learning experience. It comes with the always fun traditional wooden toys and modern touchscreen technology to create the perfect combination between fun and learning.
Great for learning and having a blast in the process
Marbotic offers kids the opportunity to learn the alphabet and numbers through the use of their beautifully design wooden letters and a tablet!
I have always been concerned about kids using a tablet but, this combination of tablet/ toys is something I can certainly work with! As a matter of fact, I love the way the brand has integrated the traditional with modern and created this super fun learning tool.
Inspired by the Montessori method which encourages learning through the manipulation of objects, the Marbotic team created a set that will be fun for kids (and parents ) to play while promoting imagination and creativity through technology.
Marbotic has 3 different kits available: Smart letters, Smart Numbers, and the Smart Kit which is the combination of the other two kits.
Along with the kits, the brand offers a series of apps that are available at the app store and the Google Play store. Some of the apps are geared for kids as young as 2 years old, all the apps are free and available in 5 or 6 different languages depending on the app.
You will need an iPad 2 or newer in order to use the smart letters, and there is a complete list of Samsung and Nexus devices that are compatible with the apps and kit as well.
The Marbotic Smart letters include 26 interactive wooden letters for tablets and 3 apps. The kit has a retail price of $49.99 and is meant for kids ages 3 +. I do think kids a few months younger can really enjoy this kit as long as there is an adult with them at all times!
