Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it fuels your body and brain and helps you to keep active and focused throughout the day, but it is also a crazy time, at least around here as I have to get my daughter ready for school and that means checking up on her every two minutes to make sure she is actually taking a shower, brushing her teeth, and putting her shoes on…You get the idea, besides that, the baby usually wants to nurse at about the same time I am trying to get her ready and pack the lunch box for the day, so yes, mornings are a little hectic around here.
So while traditional breakfast staples like PopTarts, English Muffins and Bagels are very convenient, I want my daughter to have a healthier approach to food and make sure that becomes a habit. The earlier you start instructing them about healthy food, the better!
My solution?
Ozery Morning Rounds
Family-owned Ozery Bakery marries convenience and health with their Morning Rounds which are filled with real fruit and healthy grains. These buns are completely free of artificial preservatives, GMO’s and similar ingredients.
They are as convenient as can be as all you need to do is pop them in the toaster and in just a few seconds you have a fragrant and delicious fruit filled bun that is not nearly as sweet as some of the alternatives I mentioned before, but still delicious!
You can top them with butter, jams or cream cheese, but I want to keep them as healthy as possible, so I eat them as is and they are still delicious. For the kids you might want to add a little something , just because, but as I said , there is no need.
The Ozery Morning Rounds are not just a great option for a healthy breakfast, they also come in 4 different flavors to match the picky eaters demands.
Their price tag is higher than what you would pay for some of the traditional breakfast items (about $26.00 per pack of 6), but then again, the Ozery Morning Rounds are free of artificial preservatives, have about 5g of protein per serving (1 morning round), contains whole grains and it is Vegan!
The perfect companion and great addition to a healthy breakfast? A fresh squeeze orange juice!
You might be thinking, well, if am trying to save time , squeezing oranges and even if it is for a healthy breakfast, might not be a good option…True unless you use a Tribest Citristar, CS-1000-A Citrus Juicer.
The Tribest Citristar, CS-1000-A Citrus Juicer
Is an easy to use powerful juicer so you can have your oranges and lemons with no effort and in just a couple of minutes so there is really not much preparation time involved. They do recommend 15 seconds of operation followed for a 15 second rest and no more than 5 minutes at a time to prevent the motor from overheating.
The Tribest Citristar, CS-1000-A Citrus Juicer has a very quiet motor so you not disturb the whole house (or sleeping baby). The body is made of a high quality plastic material and Stainless steel juice outlet which snaps close to prevent leaks and the unit also has a stainless steel juice filter.
The different parts on the juicer are removable for easy cleaning and they are also dishwasher safe.
Extremely user friendly, there are no buttons , or switches to operate the CS-1000-A Citrus Juicer. To get the unit going all you need to do is press your citrus against the rim and the unit will start.
Note there are two parts to the rim, use together for oranges and take the top off to squeeze your lemons.
The power cord can be wrapped under the juicer’s base for easy storage. The CS-1000-A Citrus Juicer complements your healthy breakfast routine and has a retail price of $55.95 and is on sale right now for $49.95.
