I have a confession to make…I am totally obsessed with baby safety and comfort when they are sleeping. The first year is very scary with the whole SIDS deal, and I am always trying to ensure my babies are as comfortable as possible when they are sleeping and I have to say I am so happy I found the Muslim swaddles and wearable blankets!
I am also happy I discovered a company that sells both these items that I did not know existed until just a few days ago. So, I am very happy to introduce you to Just Born so you do not miss out on their super adorable baby products.
Wear-a-Blanket
As you all know it is not recommended to place loose blankets in the baby’s crib, so it is necessary to look for alternatives to ensure that your little one is comfortable and does not get cold during the night or to overheat due to thick pajamas and such.
The Just Born Wear-a-Blanket is the perfect solution to these issues, the Wear-a-Blanket is a zipper baby sack that allows the baby to be covered while staying comfortable as their feet are free to move but knowing that the baby is not going to kick off the blanket during the night and get exposed to the cold.
While I have seen other wearable blankets before, there are a few key features that make these wearable blankets standout…The Just Born Wear-a-Blanket wearable features comforting tummy wraps which provides your baby with soothing tummy support while keeping him safely positioned in the wearable blanket.
In addition these baby sacks have one other feature that I have not seen in any other baby sack…they have fresh air mesh vents that help prevent overheating.
The Just Born Wear–a-Blanket also features zipper closure with a button flap on the top to safely tuck up the zipper….The zipper closure allows for easy diaper changes in the middle of the night!
I was also sent a set of muslin swaddles to try.
The Just Born muslin swaddles are sold in packs of three and feature hip modern designs that complement your baby’s room.
These 40” x 40” 100% muslin swaddles are soft and breathable and can help regulate your baby’s body temperature so baby will be warm during the winter and warm during the summer. I am personally a huge fan of muslin swaddles and use them on a daily basis as a cover for the stroller when it is sunny, to use over my shoulder after feeding the baby, and even as a cover when I am breastfeeding….
These particular swaddles are a little thinner than other swaddles I have, but don’t take me wrong these are also nice and the prints are gorgeous.
Both products would make a wonderful baby shower and holiday’s gift. You can find the Just Born Products at selected retailers.

I would love the simple swaddle
They have some really sweet blankets. The chenille sweater knit blankets, especially the elephants, would be really soft!–I’ve never had kids, so I only know what most people know about SIDS: that putting a baby to bed on their back is so important, I don’t think we really know what causes SIDS, but we can do things to try to make it less likely. I know that in extreme cases, babies can be hooked to monitors while they sleep that will alert parents if breathing stops.
I know the cause of SIDS is still unidentified by doctors and other professionals but it’s believed the babies sleeping on their backs with minimal blankets/ pillows/ “fluffy things” in their crib is a possible prevention measure. It’s a heartbreaking thing ; My aunt lost a little girl to SIDS. I LOVE THE HATTIE & ELLIE COLLECTION bedding from Just Born. They have such cute stuff !
i would love to try their Just Bath collection, those hooded towels are way too cute! i fell in love with the ‘Welcome to the Circus Collection’
as far as sids, im probably not as informed as i should be but i know that there is no known cause but that back-sleeping can help prevent it as well as keeping items in sleeping area to a bare minimum(which is why sleepsacks are so genius!) also that pacifiers help, cant remember the reason why but i do know that part. —i need to get more educated on this, thanks for bringing up the topic.
I know that SIDS is very dangerous and not totally preventable. The best prevention is to follow safe sleep practices, like no sleeping on super soft surfaces, no blankets, etc. and to place infants on their backs to sleep.
I love the muslin collection blankets, they look so soft and pretty!
I really like the NEUTRAL SEPARATES, I know that SIDs risk are increased with quilted bedding, pillows and unsafe co-sleeping habits. Also proper diet and proper temps are important
They have such adorable products! I especially love the bedding and the hooded bath wraps. I honestly don’t know much about SIDS, but being pregnant with my first child, it is a very scary thought! I know that baby should absolutely sleep on her back, as to minimize the chance of suffocation.
I would love to try the plush blankets. They look so soft.
I definitely know about SIDS my son bed shares so we have to be careful with the blankets and pillows on the bed.
I would love to use the High Seas bedding collection in the nursery. The whales and anchor mobile is adorable. This collection is cute for a boy but I could also see a little girl in it too. I know that SIDS is still not explained. There are steps to help prevent SIDS like laying the baby on it’s back.
SIDS is so scary. Back to Sleep! I like their Hattie & Ellie collection.
I would love one of their Sweater Knit Blankets, especially now with the cold weather coming. My hubby and I are very new to our little one because our only other grandchild is 16 years old. I am not that familiar with SID but I know its pretty scary. Right now if he has a cough, fever or anything that doesn’t seem right, I think I am up every hour checking on him. He is 1-1/2 years old now and I still worry he might twist up in his blanket.
I like the hooded bath wraps. I love that you can scoop your baby up and wrap them up easily. It looks like a good quality and I love the cute patterns (especially the zebra print)!
