A few weeks ago, I received a pitch about a baby monitor for the car… I had no idea there was such a thing! I was really interested in this product, baby J is forward facing and I was having a really hard time watching him in the baby mirror I had installed in the back seat, I am only 5’2”, so for me to actually see him, I had to pull myself up which I believe not to be very safe thing to do when you are driving, so the idea of a camera that would allow me to see the baby without problems, sounded really good!

Infanttech Zooby 4.3″ Video and Audio Baby Monitor

Available in 4 super cute designs these baby monitors are a smart and hassle free solution for parents to want to keep track of everything that is going on in the back seat and that includes big sister.

The monitor is really easy to set up and features a cute stuffed animal with a camera inside so the baby get a cute little companion, mom gets piece of mind!

The Infanttech Zooby 4.3″ Video and Audio Baby Monitor is available in 4 different animals, we got the zebra which is really cute, but to be honest, they are all very cute.

As I mentioned, setting up is really easy. The monitor mount is a little tricky, you need to attach the monitor bracket with suction cup mount to the monitor and it took me a minute to figure out the right way to do it. Other than that everything was really smooth.

You need to charge the camera (there is a Velcro closed opening at the bottom of your stuffed animal and that is where you will charge your unit). The monitor comes with car charging cables, so I keep mine plugin all the time to ensure it is charged and take the little stuff animal home with me to charge. The charge on the rechargeable batteries last about 6 hours. The image on the monitor is good; just make sure you place the camera properly so you can avoid the glare from the front window.

Infanttech did a great job hiding the camera in the stuff toy, and most people do not realize there is a camera at first glance which I really like and the baby has a cue little stuff animal to look at when going for a ride.
In order to set up your camera, you will have to use the stuffed animals arms and hug the headrest on the back seat with them…they have Velcro and another closure so is really secured.

The wireless monitor allows me to keep eyes on my baby boy in the back seat and prevents me from having to change his car seat to a forward facing position as now I can see him without a hassle which was an issue for me before the monitor. The night image is not as good (obviously), as the day time view, but it still allows me to keep an eye on the back seat passengers.

While I only use my camera in the car, the Infanttech Zooby 4.3″ Video and Audio Baby Monitor is completely portable and you can easily move it from the car to the baby’s room…it comes with the wall charger to charge at home.
