Every Holiday, I make sure to include educational products in Santa’s list and even more so now that my daughter is in the 3rd grade. Meant for kids 5-11 this super fun set features six easy to follow experiments. All of them come with step by step instructions. This set makes for a great introduction to chemistry and is the perfect way to ignite your kid’s curiosity about this subject.

The Young Scientist Chemistry lab is a hands on 20 piece set with 6 different fun experiments for kids that are explained in cards so the kids can choose which of the experiments they are recreating and then separate the ingredients for it (the set includes the materials needed to make the different experiments).

Goggles and gloves, for safety, are included with the kit sand of course all the fun stuff like a black light, a beaker (no experiment can be serious without a beaker), cornstarch, food coloring, luminescent powder, and glycerin…Are some of the components for these kids experiments.

To make the set feel more like a real lab and science project, the kids can personalize the experiments book and add their name to the step by step instructions for each experiment. The age range for this set is also 5-11 but I think they get more interest in kids as old as 9 years old. The experiments might be too simple for older kids.
