I am very picky when it comes to my clothes and even pickier when it comes to my underwear. Why would it be any different when it comes to my little girl? She is the kind of person that will be uncomfortable if a clothes tag touches her skin…Yes, just like mommy, so I tend to either cut the tags off her clothes or look for tag-less pieces.
A few weeks ago I was introduced to Lucky and Me which is a kid’s underwear line from which I received two pieces. The Jada Girls Bike Shorts in pink (available in 4 different colors). The bike shorts are very comfortable and soft to the touch, the pants are made of ablend of 45% cotton, 45% modal, and 10% spandex that combines to make a really nice piece of underwear, that I must add my little one loves.
The pants feature elastic trim for a steady fit and a very soft and stretchy lace on the trim of the legs ….Let me not forget that the pants are also tag-less which is always a plus. The pants have the super cute gold fish logo on the left leg. The Jada Girls Bike Shorts have a retail price of $9.99.
I also received the Kelly Girls Racerback made with the same material combination and as soft as the pants. This also tag-less top is very comfortable …I have been told by my daughter that it is her favorite because of the comfort factor. This piece is very stretchy, so even though my little girl is already 6 years old the 5T fits her and preserves the comfort, the same as with the shorts.
The top features an elastic trim with the brand name that contrasts with the top (I got het the turquoise color ) which has a coral trim and the Lucky and Me name in turquoise …really a cute way to play with the colors.
Both pieces are machine washable…If there was one thing I could change on this underwear it is certainly the fact that the biggest size they offer is a 5T…their sizes starts with a 2T. I found the Lucky and Me Jada Girls Bike Shorts and the Kelly Girls Racerback to be a great addition to my little girl’s wardrobe. They are very versatile as they can be worn as an undershirt and shorts (great for school ), and they can easily double as sleepwear. In both scenarios your kid will be comfortable!
