There are two people on my holiday list that are the easiest to shop for: my brother and my husband’s aunt.
The reason why those two are the easiest of all is that I figured out years ago the best thing I can get for each of them.
While they are completely different, have never met each other, and even live in different countries, they have one thing in common (besides me, of course): their love of boots.
Aunt Betsy lives up north, so she can always use a pair of nice cozy boots for the winter. My brother is a civil engineer and is always looking for nice work boots.
To make life even easier, I learned that they both love the same brand (Lugz), so shopping for them could not be easier for me—I am a fan of the brand myself!
What Aunt Betsy’s Getting for Christmas
She is getting a pair of the Women’s Mallard 6-Inch Boots in navy and dark brown!
First things first, these boots are just gorgeous, and the color combo is to die for. But of course, let’s not forget about the practical side.
These boots are perfect for protecting Aunt Betsy’s feet from the weather while staying comfortable with a memory foam insole.
Aunt Betsy is one of the most active people I know. Hiking, biking, bird watching—you name it, she’s into it! So a pair of stylish yet comfortable boots are a must.
Why the Mallard?
Let’s go beyond the looks. There’s the rubber outsole, slip-resistant tread, water-resistant construction, breathable lining, padded collar and tongue, and of course, the memory foam padding insole. Let’s not forget the price: $79.99.
What My Baby Brother Is Getting
Well, he needs a pair of boots that will keep him protected at work and comfortable and stylish because he often goes from construction sites to meetings with developers and clients. So for him, I chose the Men’s Drifter Ballistic.
These boots are rugged yet classic with great traction and a smooth design. The Drifter Ballistic boots are durable and have excellent traction.
They are a comfortable, durable, and nice-looking pair of boots that will get my little brother what he needs at work when it comes to foot protection and, of course, without sacrificing comfort.
Did I mention these boots are only $54.99 and available in either a solid back or wheat cream to match the wearer’s needs?
