Halloween is just around the corner and of course I am looking to see what my little bug is going to dress as this year…I have heard a few different options, but at the end she decided she wanted to be one of the Monster High characters and while she loves many of the different character’s in the popular cartoons, she decided she would love to be Frankie…If you are not familiar with the show, she is Frankenstein’s daughter.
We received a Monster High Deluxe Frankie Stein Costume from Anytime Costumes. This is probably one of my favorite costumes of all times, not only does it look a lot like the original, but it is also super cute and all the accessories made this costume just a great option for her this year.
This Girl’s Monster High Frankie Stein Costume features a very adorable green, black, red, and white plaid short dress with an attached white dress shirt top and black neck tie. Also attached to the dress are light green sleeves with the iconic “stitched together” monster arm detail, and they’ve included a pair of leggings to match the same stitched together found on the arms and that complete the whole look of the costume.
The Girl’s Monster High Frankie Stein Costume also has a black belt that seals the whole deal. The Velcro closure wide belt features oversize buttons, hanging chains and a silver and sparkly electric lightning bolt that gives a bold but still cute look to the whole outfit. I do recommend that you secure the belt with a little extra glue to preventing it from falling.
I was a little concerned that the leggings where going to be too long for my daughter, but they fit perfectly as the rest of the costume. One other thing I love is the cute tie on the dress which is attached to the collar and of course the bootie shape covers that would transformed any shoes into part of the costume and which to my surprise, do a great job of staying put!
The Girl’s Monster High Frankie Stein Costume has a retail price $28.99, the wig is not included, and I would highly recommend to add that to your shopping cart!
