As the time for the daughter to go in middle school approaches, my husband and I considered, more and more, the possibility of moving…I can’t say I am one of those persons who likes moving, maybe is because I moved a few times when I lived in Spain and even growing up as we lived in rented homes throughout my entire childhood, whatever the reason is, I dread the whole process.
What I look for
Since it is a fact, that we need more space for the kids, we started looking into a new school for my daughter and selected a few favorite communities and zones based on the school district and community.
We want the best for our kids, and of course, we want them to be in a kid’s friendly, family oriented neighborhood.
My ideal home
We are looking at a few different things when it comes to the house we are looking for. I, of course, would like something with some character and curve appeal, but one of the main things I look for are the bedrooms and the kitchen.
One thing I learned in the past 10 years living in the condo is that a big and well-laid-out kitchen makes a huge difference and can make life so much easier.
The kitchen wishlist
There are a few things that I just would love to have in a new home kitchen and that starts with counter space and storage.
I would love a kitchen with lots of counter space so I can start cooking more and play around with different recipe creations. More storage space to place everything in the kitchen to prevent clutter and makes moving the kitchen around so much easier.
A smart faucet
It might sound silly, but I have had a Delta with touch technology and just could not go back to a regular faucet.
If you can afford to spend the extra cash in one of these touch technology faucets, they are so worth it and you will love the functionality and beautiful designs.
Extra large sink
OK, I am not obsessed with the sink just frustrated with the one I currently have. What I do know, I want a huge double side sink in my new home.
Appliances with smart features
We have been trying to make our home smarter, and what a difference it makes! So I will love a nice set of smart appliances (who wouldn’t) that can make my home more energy efficient and easy to manage.
This year I am all about taking things easier and let go of stress and enjoying life to the max and I have decided I want to be able to put my feet on a table and watch the sunset at least twice at month…that is not outrageous is it?
The big item on my wishlist
Kick back and enjoy a glass of wine with my husband every now and then, I am not a big drinker, as a matter of fact, I might be the lightest drinker that ever lived, but I do enjoy a glass of wine on occasion, so the big item on my wishlist is a wine cooler.
My wine cooler
I need a compact quiet wine cooler that features a nice and durable design. I am not claiming to be wine expert, but I do know that whites are better chilled while red wine should be stored at room temperature. My ideal wine cooler should have a dual zone that allows me to keep white and red wines in the same unit while keeping them at their ideal temperatures.
Newair AWR-290DB Compact 29 Bottle Compressor Wine Cooler
Whites are best stored chilled. Reds keep best at a cool room temperature. So what do I do if I like both? I go with something like the Newair AWR-290DB 29 Bottle Compressor Wine Cooler that allows you to store your entire selection of wines thanks to its flexible cooling options and an ultra-compact design that is easy to integrate into your home. You can keep all of your fine wines at just the right temperature. The upper level cools to temperatures of 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit for your whites, and the lower level can be set to 50 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit for your reds. Easy-to-use controls ensure foolproof chilling.
Compact Size to Fit Your Home
While this wine cooler fits 29 standard wine bottles, it only measures 15 inches in width by 23 inches in depth making the unit highly functional without taking much space.
What do I love about this wine cooler? You can use this wine cooler freestanding in practically any room of your home, or under a countertop, the reversible door ensures that the cooler will work on any floor plan.
