I was  provided with a free eye checkup  for this review. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.

If you have been reading any of my blogs, then you probably know that I wear glasses…As a matter of fact I have been wearing glasses since I was six years old, so you can pretty much say that I have worn glasses my whole life. Needless to say I take very seriously my checkups and my frame as they are both very important…I was feeling a bit dizzy, eyes were tired, so I knew it was time to have my checkup done.

While looking for a new eye doctor ( mine moved too far away), I came across Mittleman Eye and since they are pretty close to my house, I thought I would try them out.

The office is HUGE and has a lot personnel and waiting area. When I visited them for my checkup I was able to start the paperwork very quickly and sat down to wait for my turn to go in…I probably waited only about ten minutes when they came to get me.

I was directed to a checkup room where a very nice lady did my eyes checkup, took a look at my glasses an took the standard measurements and procedures that one expects during a regular checkup.

After she was done with me they took me to another room with lots of modern equipment and then Dr. Mittleman and his assistant came in and introduced themselves…he asked me a series of different questions while doing another checkup to make sure I didn’t have any symptoms that warranted further investigation…I was really impressed about how knowledgeable and easy to talk to Dr. Mittleman is.

David Mittleman was born and raised in White Plains, New York, David settled in West Palm Beach in 1992. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He did his ophthalmology residency at The Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. David is Board Certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology. Practicing general ophthalmology, David has honed his surgical skills and has developed a reputation as one the finest cataract surgeons in the Palm Beaches.

In addition, Dr. Mittleman has repeatedly been chosen as a surgical investigator for national lens implant protocols, including the newest accommodative cataract implants. His care and treatment also includes a large volume of glaucoma, diabetic, pediatric, and cornea patients.

As I said I was really impressed. He diagnosed that I have been using a stronger prescription than what I actually needed and that this could be the reason I was getting tired eyes… He also prescribed drops to help with my eyes dryness… I have to say he was spot on! I saw a great change after getting the prescription corrected. I really liked the staff, and office environment.

The very personable D. Mittleman has excellent bed-side manners so much that I am actually scheduling another appointment to see his contact lenses specialist and have him prescribe lenses for me.
You can find Dr. Mittleman on Facebook , Twitter and through their website.
