I received a Ninja coffee Bar in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
I am what you might call a coffee zombie…Yes, I am one of those people that walks around half way asleep until I get my morning cup of coffee. I usually get one cup of coffee a day, right after I get out of bed, and I want my coffee to be as good as it gets …I only get one, so I really want to make it count and because of that I can be a tad bit picky about my coffee brand and equally as important, my coffee maker. You see, I learned a long time ago that a good coffee maker makes all the difference in the world when you are looking to get a great cup of Joe!
I am pretty sure you have seen the commercials…So have I and was really interested to see what the buzz was all about!
The Ninja Coffee Bar
With the capability to brew 6 different serving sizes that start with a single serving all the way to a large serving to match your needs, I am the only one that really drinks coffee in my house so most of the time I use the single serve but love having the choice to brew a bigger pot when I have visitors! The Ninja Coffee Bar allows Custom Brew Sizes: Cup, XL Cup, Travel Mug, XL Multi-Serve, Half Carafe, and Full Carafe.
One of the things I really like, is that you can actually brew your coffee directly into a travel mug which is not the case in a lot of similar products and the coffee gets cold when you pour the coffee from the cup to the travel mug. If you’re using an regular size coffee cup, all you need to do is flip out the stand so that it fits more snugly near to the top of the machine and prevent coffee splashing.
Customization is the big seller in this coffee maker as in addition to the sizes, you can also customize how you’d like your brew to come out so you get a perfect cup of coffee and the best part is that changing the different settings is real easy…
There’s the “classic brew” that I usually use for my morning cup of coffee, while the rich is perfect when I am looking for a little extra strengths in my coffee, the specialty brew is a super-concentrated 4oz cup for those who enjoy a stronger flavor such as my husband. There’s even the “Over Ice Brew”, which is also a bit more concentrated than a regular brew because you are mixing it with ice and that way the flavor does not get diluted.
There is also a “Cafe Forte” brew, which according to the brand amplifies all the natural hints of flavors that are in your coffee… I have yet to try that setting, but I will let you all know how it is as soon as I do!
Another big seller on this system is the built-In frother to brew, froth and drink-all in your favorite mug and that allows you to make a delicious cappuccino….My mom loves this feature as cappuccino is the only coffee drink she likes. The frother does not heat up the milk, so if you want your milk to be hot, you will have to heat before frothing …not a deal breaker, actually I like that as sometimes I want the milk foam to be cold or room temperature!
The Ninja Coffee Bar does take a bit of counter space as it is a bit bigger than your traditional coffee maker…Same feature that allows me to brew directly on to my travel mug, so fine by me.
To the already mentioned features, add the looks, the Ninja Coffee Bar Glass Carafe System (CF092) is beautifully designed and will look great in any modern kitchen. It is one of those appliances that adds to your kitchen decor.
