This is my 4th week since I got back on Nutrisystem and I am doing pretty good. I’ve got energy and my motivation is really high….I have not been able to go to the gym lately because of a shoulder injury ( getting an MRI sometime next week).

I have dropped 1 ½ pounds since I started even though I have not been as active as I would like to and have eaten out a few times last week.

At this point, my clothes fit nicely and I feel better. My main goal with this diet, is to get as close as I was a few years ago. I know I am older and cannot expect to look as I was 10 years ago, but I want to get as close as healthily possible.

 

How do I stay motivated? I have a photo of what I used to look like and a photo of what I look like now to stay focused on what I want to achieve and my goal…

I also have a bunch of shorts I wear during the summer from before I had the baby that I have not gotten rid of them as I want to be able to fit back in them. By the same token I have gotten rid of most of the pre-pregnancy clothes, so there is no going back now!

Hopefully I can get back to the gym pretty soon here and get some workouts in. My trainer is out of state, so that also slows me down, but is not an excuse to find a way to stay motivated, weather permitting I will be taking the baby jogging and walking!
