Winter is a very tough season for your skin which tends to get itchy and dry because of the weather conditions. Unfortunately, this is a fact that affects everyone in the family and of course this includes the youngest ones… A baby’s delicate skin can suffer during the cold weather season if not taken care of, and while it is not as cold as it is in other parts of the US, I want to make sure Baby J skin is healthy. I have started using a line of products that are completely new for me…Have you heard of SebaMed?
SebaMed
In 1968, a Dermatologist named Heinz Maurer founded Sebamed in Germany. Dr. Maurer realized that the surface of the skin has a protective layer that shields us from outside threats, such as: pollutants, bacteria, chemical oxidants, UV rays, and radiation.
Based on his research on eczema patients and war victims, Dr. Maurer realized that soap strips away that protective layer and worked to develop a complete pH 5.5 line of skincare products worldwide, promoting naturally healthy and beautiful skin for grownups and babies alike.
I was sent some of these baby skin care products to try on the little one and let me start off with saying that I am very picky about what I use on my kids and these products have exceeded my expectations.
The Sebamed Baby Lotion – 400
Made with a special compound of vitamins and minerals, this baby lotion, helps to guard your baby against skin conditions like eczema, dryness and diaper rashes. I have been using this lightly scented baby body lotion for a few weeks now and absolutely love it!
The Sebamed Baby Lotion is a light weight lotion that is quickly absorbed by the baby’s skin and easy to apply…Perfect for a little after bath baby massage. I especially like the fact that while it is not unscented, the scent is really light so it does not bother or affect the baby.
Little baby J’s skin gets a little patchy and this body lotion has helped me to keep his skin hydrated and as it is supposed to be, very soft and healthy!
The Sebamed Baby Lotion – 400 has a retail price of $24.95.
Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath
The Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath is also very lightly scented, and features a soap-free formulation that mildly cleans your baby’s delicate skin while adding some bubble fun to bath time.
The Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath does not make as many bubbles as you can expect from other products that have soap in them, but still a lot of fun and actually the fewer bubbles allows for an easy time in the bathtub since the baby is still little….Big sister also loves the bubble bath and she is always asking for it during bath time!
Tear free this baby bubble bath is really nice for little ones that enjoy bath time and since it has PH. Value of 5.5 and it is free of colorants, nitro-mochus compounds, formaldehyde, nitrosamines and dioxin and also Dermatologically/clinically tested, I know the children’s skin is protected while they are having fun!
The Sebamed Baby Bubble Bath has a retail price of $13.49 for the 200 ML bottle.
Sebamed Baby Cream Extra Soft
Great for babies with delicate skin with a need of a deeper moisturizing cream. This Baby body cream is thicker than the baby lotion and leaves the baby with an instant soft skin that looks and feel hydrated.
The Sebamed Baby Cream Extra Soft helps to protect your baby’s skin from becoming dry without being greasy or sticky…Love it!
I use it for both the baby and my daughter since she has the tendency to get dry skin and it works wonders on her and the baby…Also good for momma’s skin!
Like all Sebamed baby products, the Baby Cream extra Soft, is ph 5.5 to promote and maintain a healthy skin!
The Sebamed Baby Cream Extra Soft has a retail price of $13.49!

I would like to try their Classic skincare set. I have sensitive skin and this product line looks promising so I’d love to try all their most popular products. My son has sensitive skin also and I know that he’d love the bubble bath! Bath time is his favorite and a bubble bath that won’t irritate his skin would be fantastic.
I’d love to try SebaMed’s Paraben-Free Shampoo, too. Actually, these products look like they would be great for my cousin’s little boy. He has allergies that can cause all kinds of discomfort for him (& his Mom!) I know she would try any products that might help.
I’d also like to try Q10 Eye lifting cream for myself. We use products formulated for sensitive skin and use baby sunblock when we go outdoors. I love all of your Sebamed Baby Skincare products!
I would like to try Sebamed’s Cleansing Bar for Sensitive skin!
I would love to try the Sebamed Feminine Intimate Wash. It has pH of 3.8, which is very healthy for that area. I always used Johnson’s baby lotion on my daughters skin. I also used A&D ointment on the diaper area. Sebamed looks very good to me. I would love to try their products.
sebamed-anti-dry-day-defence-cream i would love to use it sounds great, my son is not yet born but i have got him some different walmart brand products to use on him.
We are lucky that we don´t get that much of a dry skin. However, when we do, hand and body lotion is very important. Most of the worry is the sun, as we live in SoCal and it is literally a desert. We use body lotion that is UV protecting, though we try avoiding the sun all together when it is very intense. I think that I would like to try the Q10 Lifting Eye Cream. Apparently this is happening with my eyes, and that would be something ideal to work with.
since I’m all for products that allergy-prone people can use, I’d choose the Paraben-Free Shampoo
