I received a Redi Shade Easy Lift for this review. I was not financially compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.
I am always looking for products to make my life easy…easy to install, easy to use ….You get the clue. Well when it comes to easy to use, easy to install, Redi Shade blinds have the crown. I don’t think I have come around a more user friendly product and I have tried some really neat products that are easy as 1-2-3 to use.
Redi Shade Easy Lift Shades
Easy Lift Shades by Redi Shade are pleaded fabric shades that can be installed in as little as 60 seconds … That is right 60 seconds!
For this review I was sent the new Redi Shade Easy Lift which is available in a variety of sizes with width from 30” to 60” and trim down to fit 19” window width, so you can get the exact size shade you need or simply trim down to the desired with. I received the biggest size available which is 60” W x 64”L -Fits windows 43” to 60” wide (Actual width is 59 3/4“).
The very first thing I need to say about these shades is that I don’t think you will find any other blind that is as easy to set up. The material covering the adhesive on the blind is actually a Patented Trimming Scale so it is easier for you to figure out any measurements in case you need to trim your blinds.
You will need no drill, screws, or brackets for installation….I needed these for my daughter’s room as she kept playing with the shades in her room and messing up the cords which were often a tangled mess. In addition to these, there is the safety factor with a new baby in the home, so these blinds are perfect. They are light weight, and so easy to use, that anyone can use them…
No cords involved, to roll up the shades, all you need to do is push the bottom rails of the blinds up…place your hands under the base and push up! To bring the blinds down, just grab the bottom rails and pull down!
The Redi Shade Easy Lift offers 3 different light controls that go from light filtering to black out; the one I received was light filtering which provides me with privacy and a clean look while allowing a soft light to go through the blinds.
The Redi Shade Easy Lift is available in two different fabric shades. We received the white color blinds and they look great in my daughter’s room, but the best part is getting rid of all those pesky cords!
The Redi Shade Easy Lift are available at Home Depot and have a retail price of just 34.95

Wow, I learned that these are best for room darkening and glare reduction. I need this in my bedroom! We are on the second floor, with an 8 lane highway right outside. My shades are torn, and the headlights light up my room all night. It’s great that these are easy to install, cause we are a family of klutzes!
I learned they have shades you trim at home for a perfect fit in your windows. My livingroom needs these! Every day, as the sun starts to go down, there is a thirty minute period where it glares right through one of our front windows! It hits me right in the eyes if I’m sitting in my usual spot!
Most shades are trim-to-size at home so you get the perfect fit the first time and that they are custom to the window.
I was amazed to read that they are a no tool required shade. This is awesome idea for those of us who aren’t handy. I think I could actually install these.
I learned The new Sheer View™ UV blocking Solar Fabric Shade cuts harsh sunlight and glare, reducing heat and harmful UV rays. We can save on energy costs while keeping your daytime view and privacy. My bedroom could use this.
I learned that these awesome shades come in different levels of “sheerness”. I also learned on the site, as well as your review, how easy they are to manage. I hate the cords that hang from my current blinds. This would be so tidy and appealing.
That they are trimmed to size at home. That they are really easy to manage, no hanging cords to worry about. No tools required to install. handy.
I learned that they have a selection for Infants and Children: With no cords-hanging or hidden, the Redi Shade Original clipped shade is perfect for children. I would definitely love these in my kid’s rooms.
I would love one of these in my living room. I have a large window in there that lets a lot of light in during the afternoon. These shades would look great and help block the heat of the sun.
My living room window could use one of these shades. There is only one window but it is pretty wide. I had a mini blind cut for it but hated the way it looked.
I learned the eazy lift is trim to fit at home!
Sorry I hit entter before I was done. I will use these in a bedroom!
i like the Black out original shade. I would use this for my 2 year old’s room. He is waking up at 6am so I would hope that these would help!
My husband broke the blinds in his home office a few months, so we could really use this. I learned they have a new line of solar shades, which would be good for him. The window in his office faces east and he gets some horrible sun in the mornings.
I learned that these blinds are installed in less than a minute and there are no tools needed. I was also impressed at the variety of colors they come in. Whenever I go to the store to get new blinds they either don’t have my size or have my size but not the color I need. These are absolutely beautiful and would sure be something I would love to have in my home.
My living room window could use one of these shades. My poor cat likes to sit on the back of the sofa and check things going on outside but has gotten caught in the cords more times than I can remember. The fact that this is cordless is definitely a plus… and they look great too.
My kitchen could use a new shade and no drill, no screws, & no brackets sounds perfect for me!
Yikes – I can’t follow directions today. Here are my additional sentences. Love that they offer so many different types of shades. The UV blocking, black-out and the decorated shades are all great.
I learned that they come in different shades including black out.
I need these in my bedroom.
I learned that they have something called solar shades. Custom made and no cords so this is a plus in our house. My
bedroom could use one of the REdi shades. Ours are over 30 years old and are rusting. I think we’d get the room darkening because I have sleep issues and sleep late morning a lot.
i visited the site and would love the Black out original 🙂
My stockpile room needs some curtains. At this point the windows are covered with a light blanket to keep out the onlookers 🙂
I love that they have so many options. One of my bedrooms gets NO sunlight, so the sheers would be perfect. In the kitchen however, we get full afternoon sun that can be BRUTAL in the summer, so I’d love the black outs in there (not to mention it would block out the nosy neighbors in the apartments behind us!)
I learned that No tools required to install. They fit virtually any window. Most shades are trim-to-size at home so you get the perfect fit the first time. I could use these in my living room
I love that it has tool free installation so I can do it myself. Our living room really needs an upgrade in blinds. These would totally change the look in there.
You can save on energy costs with a solar blind.
I would use in my kitchen window which faces South.
I love that they are available in different sizes and shapes
I love the easy installation on these shades. I learned also that their products are designed and manufactured with energy savings and sustainability in mind. I would use this in my bedroom.
I can’t believe you don’t need tools to install these. I kind of need to see it to believe it. We have been looking to replace our old, cheap blinds. We’ve already done the one in the kitchen, but we would probably use these in one or both of the bedrooms. They would be a big improvement.
