Are you planning a vacation for this summer? Driving somewhere? Here are three products that will help get the most out of your summer vacations keeping safety and fun in mind!
When planning a family vacation in which driving is the method of transportation, then you need to make sure the precious cargo is safe and sound. One other thing that it is as important as the travel safety features is the comfort, so having a car seat that is both safe and comfortable is a must for your peace of mind and your kids’ safety and comfort.
Diono
Diono designs car seats and travel accessories for today’s family that are constantly on the go and delivers a selection of highly rated car seats, including the Diono Radian®RXT Convertible+Booster Car Seat that features great safety features, and high quality materials.
The car seat has steel alloy frame, aluminum reinforced side walls, energy absorbing EPS foam, and a five-point harness to keep your kids both safe and comfortable while riding along. The Radian®RXT Convertible+Booster Car Seat also features reinforced adjustable head support for additional side impact protection.
The car seat is fairly easy to set up…It took the husband no more than 10 minutes to have it completely set. We used the SuperLATCH system that makes installation super easy and secure. One thing you need to know, is that when installing the car seat on the rear facing position, you will need to use the base that is included with the car seat which basically snaps in place. Once the base is in place you need to lock it place with a small metal tab located at the bottom of the base to keep it in place.
Radian®RXT Convertible+Booster Car Seat is really comfortable and the little guy really likes his new car seat which by the way comfortably seats rear-facing children from 5-45 lbs. The baby is about 22 lbs right now, and we are going to keep him in the rear facing position for as long as we can! You can have forward-facing children from 20 – 80 lbs in a 5-point harness. After that, it converts to a booster seat for children up to 120 lbs. So this car seat is literally the only car seat your kids will ever need.
Radian®RXT comes with an infant body support cushion and memory foam for added comfort. Our baby J was too big for the head cushion but we left the bottom part, again, he moves it!
Have more than one kid in a car seat? These car seats can fit 3 across in most mid-size vehicles; which is pretty great. Want more to like about these car seats? They fold flat for travel and are FAA certified.
What I love?
The Radian®RXT Convertible+Booster Car is NCAP crash tested, (the industry benchmark for verifying child seat performance in severe accident conditions), it has full steel frame and aluminum reinforced sides for added safety.
It also features additional forward-facing recliner position to accommodate different brands of contoured vehicle seats, 12-position adjustable headrest, 5 shoulder and 3 buckle positions that deliver a comfortable ride…As you can see Diono did their homework with this car seat.
Available in 5 different colors to match your needs, the Diono Radian®RXT Convertible+Booster Car, has a retail price of $359.99
Rainbow light Gummy Bear Essentials
Gummy Bear Essentials® supplies your kids with an effective and wide-ranging formula complete with vitamins and minerals great for today’s kids active lifestyles. With 400 IU vitamin D3 (100% DV) supports calcium absorption and promotes healthy bone and muscle development.
My daughter is always asking for vitamin gummies, and these are very complete, so I was really happy to try them.
The Rainbow light Gummy Bear Essentials, has a broad energy support and includes a complete vitamin B complex, including vitamins B-1, B-3, B-5, B-6 and B-12, that stimulates energy production and healthy nervous system and brain function.
The 30 day vitamin supply unlike any other gummy vitamins I have seen, come individually packaged which makes it very convenient for the times you are on the go.
Each individual packet contains 3 different flavor gummies which is the recommend daily dose in these vitamins.
The gummies are a little harder than traditional gummies, so the texture is not what I would typically expected from a similar product. The taste was also different and my guess is that because the gummies are packed with a wide range of vitamins, and are 100% natural (free of artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, preservatives and additives), you can actually taste it which might be a little tricky to get younger kids to take them. My daughter was a little torn about the flavor but she takes them anyways.
The vitamin range also includes Vitamin D3 which promotes calcium assumption, along with Vitamins C, A and E which provides important immune and antioxidant support.

The flashlight comes with a 32 pages story book ( The Scary Sleepover), that your kids can easily identify themselves with and will love to hear the story of Zack and the time he was so scared during a sleepover that he did not know if he wanted to stay….
The flashlight has 5 character projections and 25 sayings!

I don’t really have vacation plans, but my brother & his family just did that long drive to Florida (from KY to DisneyWorld.) For a long road trip like that, with three kids between 6 and 12, tablets & phones for games can really help! Healthy snacks (avoid the sugar buzz when closed up in a vehicle, lol) are helpful, too. Finally, I would say bring books or magazines if you can read without getting car sick —I never could!
We are planning on going to Kauai this summer. Are must have essentials are sunscreen, sunscreen, and more sunscreen. Because we are all very fair skinned. Thanks for the chance.
We’re planning a 19 hour road trip to see the grandparents! For us, the top 3 products are snacks for the car ride, toys to entertain the kids, and wipes because they are always finding some disgusting mess to play with! These are on top of the essentials like diapers, pack-n-play, clothes, etc.
The 3 top products I would take would be snacks, toys, and my tablet so they can watch videos on. I don’t have any plans for any trips. However these 3 things are great to have when ever you are on the go with the kids.
We do alot of camping in the summer. Taking a long drive I always pack snacks and games the long ride. Its alot of work, feels like I pack half the house up to go camping buts its so relaxing once we are settled in and the kids always have a blast!
We plan on doing a lot of camping this summer. The three essentials for us are diapers, snacks, and my toddler’s horrendous, hairy, purple blanket without which she is inconsolable.
We love going on road trips and plane rides. We’ll likely take a few road trips this summer and an imminent move in our future to who knows where! Fruit snacks, look and find books and MANY snacks are a must for those rides. Even in planes, more snacks the better!
Well it depends on where we go on vacation. For example if we go to the beach, sunscreen is a must, swimsuits are must, and a towel is must. Not to mention all the other everyday essentials that you use. For a little one swim diapers, and hat are must too. The list goes on and on.
We really hope to go somewhere very fun as a family. We love water so we would need lots of water toys and sunscreen. We hope to go on a road trip at least twice this summer. Thank you for offering these great essentials!
Right now I have no plans. It would be nice to go somewhere though. Mostly just want to enjoy warm weather!
We would always need sunscreen, since we’ll be outdoors. Water, stay hydrated. And a swimsuit, you never know when you’ll use it!
We are going to Ocean City MD and to New England. We try to choose locations somewhat close to home so the kids aren’t stuck in the car for too long. We always need bottled water, sunblock and comfortable shoes.
This summer is packed. We have lots of concerts to attend, as well as camping trips. There is also a wedding out of state that we are doing in August as well as celebrating several birthdays.
We have plans to go swimming this summer. The kids also want to play with their new scooters. We don’t have much plans beyond that,
Well, we go to the beach every summer. So, the top three things we take are towels, sunscreen and a beach umbrella. 🙂
I’m going on vacation to Cali this summer! It’s my cousin’s wedding 🙂 We would pack extra clothes, snacks and bring lots of money lol! Hope we have a blast. THANKS <3
We just came back from a car trip to a state park last weekend. We always pack water, healthy snacks, and wet wipes. Now on to the next adventure.
We just got back from vacation, but we may go camping this summer. The top 3 products we will take will be sun screen, first aid kit, and diaper wipes! We absolutely cannot go on any trip, even if its a day trip without these absolute essentials!
So far we don’t have any plans. We did just get back Costa Rica though! Top 3 products are clothes, flip flops and deodorant.
Yes! We are going to Disneyland. My 3 must haves are sunscreen, emergency money and a first aid kit.
Thank you for the chance.
We are hoping to spend a lot of time at the beach. Our top three items would be water, sun screen, and diapers. We tend to overpack just to be safe.
No plans, just had a baby! BUT when I travel on errands with my other littles, I always take snacks and water and a change of clothes since you never know what they will touch or spill, etc. etc.
Were headed up to the mountains in Idyllwild, California for a few days in a couple of weeks. It’s so relaxing there! We are always sure to take all of our chargers for our electronics and a power bank and extra zip top bags for all sorts of things (especially with a toddler). We also always take our large cooler to take food and drinks so we save money and eat healthier on the trip.
Snacks/drinks would be first on our list. lol. We know hungry people are unhappy ones, especially the littles. Next would be any meds or fever reducers, etc. Lastly would be electronics for safety reasons, gps, and to keep everyone occupied. We are planning a whole family trip this year to a cabin/camping that includes a convoy of 19 people…6 families. 3 of my grandies would really use this package! Thanks!
We won’t be going anywhere this summer but if we were the 3 things I would definetly pack are something to keep the kids occupied, snacks. Extra clothing. With kids you never know what you will need so it’s best to pack as much as you can so your prepared. I don’t like lugging a lot of extra things around, but I don’t like being on the spot needing something and not having it either.
This summer we plan on going camping as a family of 4. It’s our first time. The top 3 products to pack for my family include water, sunscreen and snacks.
We will be traveling to the beach this summer. It is one of our favorite and easy destinations. Will be packing sunscreen, snacks, and a few things to amuse the kids
We will not be travelling this summer but rather be tourists in our own city(Phoenix), and it gets pretty hot here so plenty of sun screen, sun hat and glasses are a must.
depends on where we are going. Id say for the beach trip this summer we need, food, sunscreen, good clothing and activities to keep the kids busy while we travel. I try to pack as light as possible.
We’re planning a trip to the beach and my essentials are sunscreen, a canopy/tent with SPF, and my kids favorite toys!

This summer we are going to Florida and Costa Rica. We will be going as a family so this will be fun. The top three things I bring are snacks, games to keep kids busy and extra clothes.
No immediate family trips but I would have to take, snacks, swim suits and money.
We don’t have any plans this summer. I am saving up for a vacation to Florida this winter. I am taking my mom on her only bucket list trip and will have a boring summer to give her it. She has been very ill and deserves it.
First I pack water so we don’t have to buy drinks. Next I pack lots (lots!) of healthy food and snacks to keep us going. Lastly, I pack wipes to clean up before and after eating and after exploring.
I don’t have any major plans for summer. My husband and I might take a trip to the mountains. We are just trying to relax and prepare for our baby that is due in October. I like to have a low key summer!

My secret to keeping kids happy on any trip is pack new toys they have never seen before so they are thrilled to play with them. Brings snacks, water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes for everyone. Also any needed medicines should be available in your purse. I also bring hand wipes.
We don’t have plans but my first must have item is sunscreen – since we have that pale Irish skin. Second item would be snacks for the kids since they get grumpy when they don’t it. And third would be comfy shoes for me – I just can’t handle heels anymore, so it’s flat sandals or flip flops for me.
we go on long car trips to visit the grandparents. one essential is snacks. something the kids can eat without getting too messy is a must.

He has been ice skating for a year now. We would have to take snacks and drinks along with all of the hockey equipment we have to tote everywhere.
We do not really have plans to travel this summer. My husband will be having major surgery and will spend most of the summer recovering so we will be sticking close to home. Even on short rides I have learned to pack snacks and bottles of water in a little travel cooler we have for the car. Also baby wipes are a must, you can use them for anything from freshening up to wiping spills.

I would say hand sanitize, phone, and of course a towel. Thanks so much for this consideration. There is much more my family needs but that would get a lot of the job done.
