How much water do I need to drink in a day?

There are many different opinions on how much water a person should drink every day. The most recommended amount is to drink eight 8 –ounce glasses each day which is equal to about 2 liters. This is also known as the 8×8 rule which makes it easier to remember… The reality is that a lot of people fail to drink the recommended amount of water or even coming close to it. I speak for myself, as sometimes I just get too caught up on what is going on around and simply “forget to drink water”.

I have found that what works best for me is to have a water container close to me as the day goes by. My number one problem was always finding a big enough isolated water bottle. We love this water bottle and it comes to every single soccer game. In addition, I always bring it any time we go for a walk, shopping…You get the idea. This size bottle would not fit in any cup holder, but Takeya has other smaller sizes if you prefer something smaller. I personally love this size and keep it filled with ice and water even when I am at home so I do not “forget “ to drink my water!
