Review Or Sample Copy Disclosure

One of the worst things that can happen to a condo homeowner is to have a leak in any part of your home without knowing about it.

A leak can cause a lot of damage in any home, but that damage can be easily multiplied when you live on a high floor in a condo. As a matter of fact, I had a big scare a few months ago when I walked into my closet to realized it was flooded! The closet shares a wall with my bathtub and at the moment, I thought that was the cause, but after looking closer, that was not the issue.

I had to remove everything from the closet floor and use a carpet washer to suck up as much water as possible, and place a fan for several hours…I can only imagine what the cost of that water dripping down to other units would cost me.

Fortunately, I found out soon enough the damage was contained to my closet. Until this day I have no idea what caused the problem or if the water was coming from another unit. Needless to say, I want to make sure that if something like that happens again, I know the right way to prevent a possible disaster.

Tiny but mighty

This little device sends your phone daily updates letting you know the statues of your device. You can add different devices to different areas of concern in your home and have status updates for all of them delivered to your account.

Works like a charm

Because I do not want to wait for something to happen to figure out if the device works the way it supposed to, I did my own testing and took a dropper with water to see how long it would take for the unit to send out an alarm and how that alarm is delivered.

I started with one drop at a time on top of the unit and it took around 35 drops before the water dripped to the edge of the unit, as soon as the water went over the edge, the alarm went off and within seconds I received a text message and an email letting me know a leak was detected.

I dried the device off and 5 minutes later, I received an email and a text letting me know the status my device was back to normal!

How I wish I had something like this when I had the flooding in my closet. It would have saved me a lot of work and cleaning up.

I love the device, its high-quality construction, and small compact size! Most of all, I love how quickly it can let me know if there is a leak in my home. It will save me literally thousands of dollars from water damage to my property and my neighbor’s property as well. So, kudos to Delta Faucets for another outstanding product!
