I received a 2XU Pregnancy and Post-natal Compression Tights to facilitate this review. I was not financially compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.

As I have mentioned before, with the beginning of the new year I have the goal to lose weight.  Well actually, it is more than that, I need to get back in shape and I have started a 30 day green smoothie challenge.  I have also cut the soda intake.  The only thing that I need to increase is the amount of exercise I am getting right now, so I am working on that, and the first step…Exercise apparel.

2XU Pregnancy and Post-natal Compression Tights

The Australian-based, and an internationally well-known, performance sports and lifestyle brand 2XU has recently released a world-first line of real prenatal and postnatal compression tights!

Compression Tights

I was dying to try these and once I saw them, I wasn’t too sure they would work for me.  The front panel was too long for me I thought, but the reality is after I tried them on is they fit really nice!

The 2XU Pregnancy and Post-natal Compression Tights are unlike anything I have seen or tried before.  The tights are made with a very lightweight material that offers incredible support and it is very breathable at the same time (Invista LYCRA and PWX FLEX fabric). This body firming material is idyllic for moving, training and recovery.

Exercising during pregnancy is very important for both mom and baby, but finding the correct gear can definitely be challenging!  This is what these pregnancy and post-natal compression tights would be just amazing for, both during the pregnancy and in my case after delivery.

This pregnancy was really hard on my body and it is taking me a lot to get back to a point that I can feel comfortable with myself.  I have been using these tights for a few weeks now and I really can’t get over how very comfortable they are and even the front panel which I thought would be too long for me fits nicely.

Do not get me wrong, the panel is long (It has to be so it can fit a growing belly), but it is not uncomfortable at all, actually it is quite nice.

The fabric hugs and supports the part that you need the support with while keeping the belly comfortable. I do not have a pregnant belly any longer, but I do need to reshape my waist while losing weight.

A pregnant woman can wear the tights during the pregnancy and then after the baby’s arrival and still get great support and comfort. Why are they so comfortable? These specially designed tights feature pelvic floor support, seam free double layer PWX fabric that supports the abdominal wall and promotes recovery, and wide waist for added comfort.

The 2XU Pregnancy and Post-natal Compression Tights price start at $125.00 which can seem a little high, but the truth is that you are better off getting one or two of these than getting 4 of a similar product that will not offer the same support and if you think about the fact that you can still can use these after the delivery, then you can realize that the price is not bad at all!
