Review Or Sample Copy Disclosure

We found the perfect house for us, the right size, with the right amount of bedrooms and of course in a neighborhood that will allow my daughter to go attend her chosen school!
I am overly excited and want to make sure that our home is organized and decorated just the right way to prevent clutter and disorganization.

I have a plan

I am already getting rid of tons of stuff that we don’t really need. I am decluttering all the areas of our current home so I do not have to bring things to our new home that we don’t need. While you might think that you can decide later once you move, doing it now would make the process easier. You will have fewer things to pack, fewer things to unpack, and, let’s be honest, there will be a lot to do once you move. I think it’s just smarter not having a lot of extra steps.

I also want to change the color palette and go with a completely new set of colors, keep everything simple, warmer and part of a simpler style. I have decided to replace the wall art I currently have and add more photos of the family in different rooms of the house.

Using photos for décor

Using photos as a way to decorate your home can create a warm, homey feeling and can help you create focal walls and even tell the story of a special event.

Canvases are a great option to create the desired effect, you can arrange them in different sizes and positions to create the desired effect. The trick, however, is to use the proper size and orientation depending on the image you want to display and the orientation the photo has taken.

Lets put it this way, getting the right size prints can make a huge difference in your project, the ratio is everything for the canvas composition and it affects the final result.

How do I know what size is best for my canvas?

The canvases ratio can be determined by the relationship of each side of the canvas. For example, a square image would have an aspect ratio of 1:1 because all the sides are equal, but if you have an image with a 1:2 ratio, then one side is two times larger than the other.

Ready for your masterpiece?

Keeping in mind, how important the aspect ratio is for the outcome of your project, changing the size on an image would change the focal point of the photo.

Different canvas sizes, and where to use them

Here is a quick cheat sheet to give you an idea of where to place your canvas depending on the size.

10″x8″ canvases are one of the most popular choices and are great to use as a fill-in. They work wonderfully on desks, small hallways, and bookcases.

10” x 14” would be the next size up and are especially great for photo collages. Place your 10” x 14” in a spare bedroom or in your kitchen.

12″x12″ is the way to go if you want to display a single large photo or to create a photo collage. Remember to have fun with the photo sizes when creating a photo collage. This is best displayed on gallery walls, small living rooms, and, why not, bathrooms.

24″x10″  is the perfect size for a mantle, or over the headboard of a bedroom.  It is probably the best way you will find to display a large family photo or a panoramic view shot. It will also look amazing in a hallway.

16″x16″  Looking to create a focal point? This canvas would do just that! add you’re 16” x 16” canvas to any gallery wall or simply hang it alone in your living room, bedroom or even a dining room for an immediate WOW factor with a single canvas.

The 20″x16″ is the next size up from the 16″x16″. This size is perfect for displaying longer photos such as weddings and landscapes. Just the right size for any living room or office space.

36” x 12 “  this canvas works like the 24″ x 10″ canvas even though they are not the same size.  This is a great choice for displaying photos by your entryway, in bedrooms, or your living room.

20” x 30” is an eye catcher, a tall wowing image that will grab the attention of anyone walking into the room. Recommended in living rooms and bedrooms as a single image.

24” x 36” canvas is Born 2 Impress! This canvas will set the stage in any room as a striking single image.  It definitely adds plenty of Wow and works best by itself.Think bedroom, living room, or office.
