Duri Nail polish
Planning a romantic dinner or special event for Valentine’s Day or a date night maybe? If so, I am sure you want to doll up for your better half and look your best. For me one of the first things I want to make sure that looks good are my hands…I like well-manicured hands with a cute nail polish that complement what I am wearing!
Duri Cosmetics is a Brooklyn-based company that specializes in toxin-free nail polishes and spa-grade treatment lines that if I have to be honest I had not heard of until just a few days ago when I was presented with the opportunity to try their products… toxin-free nail polishes? Absolutely I want to try them and especially because my little bug is very into nail polishes right now and if I am going to allow her to wear any, then toxin-free nail polishes are what I want to her to use.
I was sent 5 colors from the Duri’s collection. A variety of pink and a red that are just great for Valentine’s Day. I love the French manicure so I used 2 of the pink to create a unique and super cute French manicure that I am planning to rock on Valentine’s Day.
For this look I used the Cupid Rules and the Iced Roses. The nail polishes come with the thick brushes, so you might need a thin brush if you decide to do a French manicure and pedicure.
Duri’s toxin-free nail polishes feature a thick coat with really nice coverage. I used two coats on my manicure and pedicure, but both colors show really nice (and yes, that even includes the light pink that I used).
Long lasting chip resistant
I am in the Dominican Republic right now on a little vacation and running around like crazy. I have the little guy with me, so I am constantly doing things with my hands, but my nails still look really good after 5 days which is really good in my opinion.
Duri uses a professional formulation that provides you with an easy to apply nail polish that is very glossy, and long lasting so even when you do your nails at home you can get a beautiful and uniform coat of polish.
The colors are amazing…They have an extensive and really colorful catalog with name like Parisian Tango and Swan Lake that helps you to easily identify and remember your favorite shades.
Duri’s toxin-free nail polishes have a retail price of $6.00 per nail polish and also offers nail grow products to keep those nails strong and healthy. Shipping is free with a $35.00 purchase using promo code FREESHIP, so if you are looking for good quality nail polishes that are also toxin-free, head over to Duri’s and take a little tour of their website.
Duri Cosmetics has kindly offered one lucky Born 2 Impress reader the chance to win their Valentine’s ready collection I love HUE, 5 different toxin-free nail polishes including the ones I used on this review.
