Denby….Founded in 1809, Denby is famous for its stoneware products and is fast gaining a reputation for porcelain and china. I was given the opportunity to try one of the Denby’s Oven to Table Large Oblong Dish that is about 32.5cm – 13” long, made of ceramic, and is Microwave and Oven safe up to 220°C/428°F, Dishwasher safe and even Freezer safe! The Oven to Table Large Oblong Dish comes in a variety of colors to meet your décor needs and is available in medium size…They also offer a smaller size in an oval design.

I loved the Oblong Dish and wanted to add another Denby product to my list of Must Have products and I am really happy to report that I was given the chance to try the Denby Imperial Blue Cast Iron Shallow Casserole .

As the Oblong Dish, the Cast Iron comes in a variety of fun fashion colors to give your kitchen a modern splash of color. The Cast Iron can be used in pretty much any heat source with the exception of the microwave. The casserole can also be used in the oven up to 250°C/482°F and is also dishwasher safe, but I personally prefer to hand wash it. As should be expected from a good cast iron casserole , it is heavy and really sturdy.

The casserole has a great heat distribution to help cook your food evenly and the low profile of the casserole makes it easy to bring it on the table. And since the colors are so fashionable, it actually looks nice on the table (be aware that the handles do become hot). One other thing I really like about the casserole , is the fact that while the interior has a white enamel and the exterior has a glassy look, the edge is rustic to help prevent the lid from chipping or scratching the casserole which has happened to me before with other brands.

Denby also offers a life time warranty and is freezer safe. So the casserole is not only stylish and top notch quality, it also gives you a great run for your money.
